Do not under any circumstances book this dump
It's run down and needs demolishing
The manager tries his hardest to please god bless him but it's just like putting a plaster on the problem.
It's dirty , the beach is like a land fill tip there are Mosquitos bugs and cocroaches all over the place.
The restaurant is located next to a stagnant pool so if the Mosquitos don't get you the food will.
Please don't take this as a joke the place should be condemned.
The only redeeming factor is that we only booked 2 nights could not get away quick enough
We are not snobs we live and let live but this is gutter level.
I cannot believe that some travel company's ie booking.com have this dump on their sites as a 4 star !!!

Tusita is just a magic beautiful resort , Very good value for the luxe they offer ; Very quiet , very comfortable rooms ... the design and the style is really charming , lots of green and nature ... The hotel is not directly on the beach 5OO Meter walk , but have a nice pool and Spa , the restaurant and bar is a nice space to relax and have diner ... We spent 1 wkend in Tusita for our anniversary trip. We arrived around 10 pm (the resort was around 40 min drive from town-slightly far). Once we stepped out of the car, we were greeted by so many staff from parking all the way to front desk! I have to say we were very impressed.

The resort was super nice. We stayed in the garden view pool villa (Wiman Room). The room was clean and very well decorated. We especially love the romantic outdoor jacuzzi and shower decor. There was a small fitness room and a great seafood restuarant nearby, but we preferred to spend most of our time by the pool and enjoyed the massage.

The ambience was nice and quiet, probably suitable for a hideaway vacation type. We rode the bikes along the beach. It was so quiet as there were not many tourists in this area. We didn't do many activities yet this time, but when we return next time we will definitely take the rafting tour and sailed to Koh Prao as the staff suggested. Overall, it was an awesome weekend.

Perhaps my expectations were too high, but this resort left me very disappointed. Overall, it gives the impression of a 3-star property with 5-star pretensions...pretensions that fall very short.

First of all, the location. The main hotel is not on the beach, but a few hundred meters down the road from it. The beach is not anywhere near one of Thailand's best, with mud rather than sand, and green/brown fishy-smelling water. I walked out several hundred meters, and the water was still not up to my waist.

The swimming pool in the main part of the resort was green and uninviting. At the beachside spa area, the pool was better. But we found it completely unstaffed, and when we tried to order a drink off the menu from the one staffer we could find, he said it would "take a while" because everything but soft drinks had to be brought over by golf cart from the main resort. We said never mind.

Our room was quite nice, but we were disturbed several times by the sound of slamming doors through the wall (most cabanas house two units). One gripe would be the water pressure/temperature, which was annoyingly inconsistent. The free wi-fi worked very well. Television was extremely limited.

Breakfast was a disaster. The dining room -- unattractively situated looking out over the road -- looked like a tornado had hit it, with newspapers, cutlery, and napkins on the floor, and long-vacated tables still stacked with dirty dishes. The breakfast itself was pathetic: cold fried eggs in a chafing dish, paper-thin slices of packaged ham floating in greasy water, and the cheapest bread and butter imaginable.

In spite of being out of the room exploring the vicinity from 10am to 7pm, we returned to find our bed unmade and morning towels still on the bathroom floor. When we contacted reception, they apologized that the maid "must have forgotten". They sent over fresh towels, but that was it.

Overall, not a pretty poor experience.

Tusita Wellness Resort, a new rebranding wellness destination for rejuvenating your health as well as your beauty and mind based on the concept of balancing with the four elements; earth, water, air and fire according to the Thai Traditional Medicine and Nutrition. All things in the world can be divided into four vibrational families and the elements of water, air, Fire, and Earth. In the body, these four Elements represent the four major organs. Usually, one of these organs is stronger than the others giving extra energy to that organ and helping people to behave in certain ways and clearly influences personality and lifestyle choices. And, one of the organs is usually slightly deficient and needs building up. When you are strong in one element, you usually need to build up the other element to find balance. ... more   less
