Four nights here was not too long - we enoyed the sparkling mornings, marvellous views in all directions and local walks and trips. Comfortable room with glass doors and a balcony for maximum enjoyment of the beautiful location perched above the tea plantation slopes. Not a property for the frail, as many steps up to the restaurant on the summit of the hill (room service is an option offered). Wonderful views but open restaurant gets any breeze. As temperatures in this area drop overnight breakfast and dinner can be chilly, despite staff efforts lowering blinds and offering shawls. Perhaps would be good idea to try to make restaurant a little more cosy.
Food good and restaurant manager Mr Sunil ensures best of attention to guests. Reception and so-called guest activities coordinator did not respond helpfully to questions - for example, we asked time of local train journey and despite 3 phone calls by reception staff, were given incorrection information.. But the beautiful location made up for any minor shortcomings!More
