“A few steps, but worth it at the top”
Reviewed July 13, 2014

You will need to be in reasonable physical shape to be able to complete the climb up to Little Adams Peak. However, once you get to the top the views are superb.

To reward yourself on the way back down, follow the signs to 98 Acres Resort and enjoy a cold beer. It really is the perfect place to stop off. Though you'll wish you were staying there!

“Windy - more steps than hiking”
Reviewed July 12, 2014 via mobile

A nice nature walk, through tea plantations, on an easy to navigate path. It's not really a trek, so if you are a hardcore a athletic outdoorsy type, you might find this a bit tame.

For us though, it was a nice easy way to spend a few hours, filming the tea plantations, and looking across Ella Gap.

The last section up to the top of the Peak is via a lot of concrete steps. So if your knees can't take steps, you may not like the last little section. But you could still do the majority, first part.

Big, white golf flag at the top. Can't miss it.

On the way back, you could drop into the newish 98 Acres Resort. (Hotel and chalets perched right on the cliff edge)
They have a cafe looking into the yonder. It was absolutely empty when we were there. So this resort is either struggling, or everybody was hiding. It also has a pool, but I can't help thinking the climate is a bit cool for that, up in the hills.

“Nice walk. Amazing views”
Reviewed July 1, 2014

The walk up there is very nice and the view over Ella Gap is amazing. After your hike stop at 98 acres resort for a refreshing drink or take your swim wear and have a dip in the pool there. Its an easy walk close to Ella town! Cool half day trip!

“Nice, easy walk”
Reviewed June 30, 2014

It's a nice walk, not too challenging and has great views. But would do Ella rock if you have time and in shape. Did enjoy a fruit juice and a friendly convrsation with some local tamils on the way, and they showed us their village, tempel and played volleyball with us.
