We stayed for two nights in a modern, clean and spacious room with a good view of the city - not that it is a pretty place, but nice to get our bearings.
The wifi was good, the tv also and friendly staff.
It was about 15 minutes walk to the ferry terminal or 20 pesos in a tricycle.
The town is pleasant, although really only a passing through place.
We found it nice to get some modern comforts and conveniences before going back to more basic places on the other Islands.

We moved here after not being able to find sleep in another hotel in town.

It was a great choice and well worth the extra money.

The bed was very good and clean and the room was well isolated, so no disturbance from traffic, neighboring rooms or anything else. We got a good nights sleep here.

If I ever have to spend a night in Dumaguete again, I will spend it here.

Room Tip: High floor (away from the road/traffic + good view).

A few hours before arriving I had not heard even heard of Dumagette, it was a French owner of a coffee shops in Moalboal that suggested a change itinerary (rather than go to Cebu City and then a ferry to Bohol, a journey that would take all day, he suggested a quick hop over and overnight stay in dumagette; he also suggested this hotel). The hotel is fairly modern and the rooms very clean, if somewhat spartan. It wasn't luxury, boutique or trendy, rather, very functional with one quirky addition - between the bathroom and bedroom is a mirror, not an issue for ablutions but could be for other toiletry matters. The reception staff are clued up and helpful, the little tourist office was incapable of giving tourist advice other than promoting their own tours. What makes this hotel great is the in-house spa - great massages of various types and for really cheap - 2 hours of massage around £5.

We made reservations for 3 nights, but due to the weather we couldn't get a flight into Dumaguete for 2 days. The hotel had no problem with use changing our reservation, which by the way did not require a deposit. We arrived before 7 am and the pickup wasn't there. It only took less than 10 minutes after we called the hotel for the driver to arrive. We were very happy when they allowed us to check in and get our room so early. The room, they gave us was a nice corner room with windows on two both outside walls. However the entrance to the smoking balcony was right outside of the door. Every-time the door was opened, smoke would enter the room. It was also quite noisy being on the main street. Went back to the check-in desk and they were very accommodating and immediately switched rooms to an interior one away from the street. They told me there wasn't a view, but I didn't care about that. Turned out the room was larger and nicer than the first one.
The air conditioner was extremely quiet to the point that I couldn't tell it was on. There were lights and electrical receptacles all over the room. I plugged my portable WiFi into the wired Ethernet provided and had pretty good speed. The was also a refrigerator with enough empty space to keep some fruits and drinks. The shower was large with a large rain-shower overhead and a separate handheld. We were particularly impressed with the floor of the shower which was made of some type of raised stone slab that was not slippery like so many tiled floor showers are.

Had breakfast at the restaurant which included coffee. I think it was less than P200 per person. My wife went to the spa and had an excellent massage for around P300. Unlike many places in town that just have a mattress or pad laying on the floor, the spa actually had massage tables.

We have stayed at 4 different hotels in Dumaguete, but in the future, this will be our number one choice.

Clean rooms and very polite and friendly staff. Close to boulevard. Good value for the rooms but the restaurant in the lobby is very expensive. Pick up is free from the airport but even after staying 4 nights if you ask them to drop you at the port which is nearby they ask 300 Pesos which is unbelievable. You can walk to the port but if you have luggage you need transport.

This hotel is located in a convenient part of town. The staff are happy to help in any way they can. They always smile and say hello. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The viewing window into the shower is a bit weird but my 12 year old enjoyed it. Don't worry, you have the option of using the blind. The water in one of our rooms was not very hot.
The restaurant serves lovely, fresh, well priced meals. There are numerous eateries outside the hotel as well.
Highly recommend this place in Dumaguete.

Clean, pleasant room, very helpful staff, centrally located hotel. I was there 3-7 January. When I asked for assistance, it was very prompt. The WIFI wasn't strong in my room, so they immediately put in a hotspot. If you give arrival info, they pick you up at the airport. I had a good massage. Best rooms are not in the front, which is above a busy road.

Room Tip: Rooms not at the front are quieter.
