We stayed there for 4 days over New Years 2011/2012.
The lodge and beach is situated on a beautiful beach, etc. The rooms were fair and cleaned every day.
What I liked: - The beach, walking distance to diving/kite centers/other restaurants, it was quiet and tranquil, and one could chill out really nice.
What I didn't like - Power cuts not Ndame's fault obviously) - but no back-up generator so when the power's out, and you're in your room with no light, no running water and the fan's gone and its HOT and humid...the mosquitoes start eating you alive... the 'inclusive' (part of) the Breakfast was very plain and after 4 days can get a bit boring, but they have a la carte options as well. The coffee was bad. I don't like 'powder coffee' I need REAL filter coffee, so that was one point i didn't like, but that's just me.
Bottom line: If you don't mind the power cuts and the results there-of, and you're going more for a budget type thing just to hang out on the beach, its fine. If you're a bit more 'squeamish' and want something with a (guaranteed) aircon, more options on your food etc, go for something more expensive.More
