Outstanding

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Aug 7, 2019
We recently stayed as a family of 4 in this beautiful setting. The villas are superb with facilities and service second to none. The hotel manager, Siriak, and all the team provide truly personalised service of the highest standard. We have been fortunate to stay in some very good hotels over the years but this is without doubt exceptional and outstanding. So much so that we have not only rebooked to go back as a couple in January but we have also recommend the resort to my son for his forthcoming honeymoon (which he has since booked).

The food is excellent and the all inclusive package is extremely good value.

Thank you to all for a very wonderful and memorable holiday.

If you want a personalised holiday with attentive staff, breathtaking surroundings and rooms that amaze with their beautiful decor and amenities, look no further than the Zanzibar Collection (Palms & Baraza) on the perfect Zanzibari east coast). The welcome felt like you had been at the hotel many times before - a sure sign that the owners and staff look to ensure, from the outset, that you have the best holiday. The small touches make a huge difference - waiters who know you by name and you don't need to ask for anything twice (they learn about your habits and pre-empt your next move effortlessly). Nothing is ever too much trouble for you as the guests. All this in the surroundings of one of the worlds most pristine beaches....a blue hue you wont forget. I highly recommend the trips that can be organised to amazing places such as the spice farms (simply incredible) and Stone Town - all with friendly and very knowledgable drivers and guides. I cannot even start talking about the spa treatments...simply brilliant. The holiday of a life time. My thanks to the Family Raguz for the superb service. Every holiday from now on will always be compared to this simply sublime experience. The best. Leon.

The Palms was really marvelous from the first until the last moment. Beginning with welcoming of the hotel manager and ending with the perfect organisation of departure inclucing a last lunch everything was perfect.
All stuff from the hotel manager to the waiters and our roomkeeper were friendly, talked with us, made jokes, asked for our wishes and had a very good working atmosphere.
The food war the best we ever had during our holidays before and the excellent cook who presented himself once a week with show-cooking and his team tried to fulfill each of our wishes.
The hotel has only six cottages, which are beautiful integrated in the landscape. Our cottage was fantastic, had splendid room and we had a look to the Indic Ocean from our bed.
We spend one week and we didn´t leave the Palms except of long walks at the beach because you didn´t need more.than living in paradise.

We arrived on 5th July 2019 for a two weeks stay to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversay (50yrs). We were met by Siriak (manager) who escorted us to our Villa.
We were teated like Royalty from the beginning to to the end of our stay, nothing was too much trouble. Chef William created some amazing dishes from Lobster/King Prawns to my wifes favourite anything cooked with Ginger !!
The staff made our Anniversary day very special for both of us including a gorgeous chocolate cake which we shared with our fellow guests . It was a day that we will never ever forget.
If you are thinking of taking a holiday to relax, fully unwind and like a bit of luxury we suggest you book a holiday today. You will not be disapointed.

Room tip: All villa's are excellant.

Everything is just right in the Palms. The courteous service that reads everything from the lips the privacy is given at all times. The food and the drinks. The location, rooms. The offer of activities on the land, in the sea or with a massage or with a private fire in the evening on the beach - every wish is fulfilled.

My wife told me that this is the first place where reality looks better than the pictures in the brochure!

a big thank you to the staff of the Palms

With only six cottages in a horseshoe shape each with their own plunge pool and day bed, the cottages are enormous inside even having a separate apartment, the facilities are excellent with every convenience, you even have your own dedicated beach cabana. The staff at this hotel are fantastic, nothing seems to be too much trouble and everything works like a well oiled clock. The food is out of this world and such a variety of dishes. Should you feel the need for crowds the sister hotels next door are at your disposal. A fantastic experience, thank you Palms.

Room tip: No difference in any room all are perfect
