We visited Villa Kiva after spending almost two weeks in Tanzania climbing Kilimanjaro, doing Safari and visiting Stone Town; it was a great way to end our vacations. We didn't go into the beach, but it made for a beautiful sight from the hotel terrace; everyone in the staff was extremely welcoming and kind.
We stayed in one of the villas which was more like an entire apartment for ourselves, which was very tastefully decorated, clean and just overall comfortable; I'd give them 5 stars there.
The only aspect I felt it was lacking was in food; after days of tasting delicious food in other restaurants both in Tanzania (main land) and Stone Town in Zanzibar, we felt the cooking at Villa Kiva was not at the same level, it was just ok.
Other than the food, everything else made for a wonderful and relaxing experience.
