Second time staying here in four weeks ,great place to stay last ime we had two great days of warm weather and one day of snow. Used the spa everyday.
This time weather was hot and lovely. Kids jumping around the pool area was a put off so alas no spa this time.

We had a great stay in a 1 bedroom apartment in Wanaka for 2 nights. It's essentially a very new housing complex, and a number of the houses have been divided into apartments. They are very well maintained, and the area feels like well-to-do suburbia. There was a central leisure area with outdoor pool, hot tub, sunbeds etc, and bikes to use for the day. When we stayed we didn't see any other guests but expect there must have been others there! The apartment was very comfortable and had everything you would expect for a high quality stay. It felt more like a hotel than apartment, in a good way. The location is easily walkable to the main part of Wanaka and the lake, and you can obviously park directly outside your apartment. I would consider this to be a 'hidden gem' accommodation and would highly recommend it.

Could not ask for more, having lots of ski equipment we had a huge walk in robe for all our gear, a drying room at the front door seperate bedroom with ensuite that had a spa bath which l loved after a day of skiing. The bathroom floor was heated and there was also a heated towel rack, drying was never a problem. Beautiful fully equipped kitchen and seperate lounge with fireplace, all windows had views of the mountains. Beautiful walk into town via the lake, best place in Wanaka.

We originally booked this apartment for 2 nights, however extended for an extra night as Wanaka has so much to offer, and the apartment was fantastic.
This Apt, felt like a home away from home.
Very cosy with the gas fireplace, heated floor in the bathroom, spa bath, and other heating devices throughout the apt. It was freezing the day we arrived (late Sept) so the heating was very much appreciated.
There is a kitchen with microwave, but no cooktop. A small outdoor patio with table & chairs.

The WLA’s are set in a more urban type of location, surrounded by permanent residences. The location is beautiful with snow-capped mountains and blossom tress lining the street.
If is an easy 15-20 mins stroll into the main street, and if you don’t feel like walking it is a quick $10 cab ride.

I would highly recommend staying at the WLA, you won’t be sorry.

Great-sized spacious but cosy apartment, perfect for a couple. Enjoyed the spa, not the season for the swimming pool but great facilities outside, lots of outdoor areas to relax in front of a fire or have a BBQ. Blossoming trees in Spring. Liked having off-road parking with all our snowboard gear. Privacy but still with pretty views outside of trees. Heating of the apartment was great. So was having a walk-in wardrobe. Loved our stay.
