My husband and I enjoyed lunch on Sunday. It was my husband's first visit but I had been before so I knew that the portions would be quite small and I encouraged him to order the $19 size of the quiche rather than the $14 one. I am glad I did because the small size would have been a mere sliver. Having said that, we understand that ideally you order several dishes to share. The serving of prawns we shared was more than enough though and my vegetarian cassoulet was beautifully cooked and presented. We definitely had room left for dessert which is not to be missed! Overall a great dining experience and Bistro Gentil is a must when in Wanaka.
