There's no better place in Wanaka to stay and soak up stunning lake and mountain views, with a glass of wine in hand, from a private balcony. I stayed in Villa F and it is true luxury - has everything you need, plus things you don't realise you need...private sauna, anyone? Having a garage with internal access was great as was very secure. The villas are just a short stroll to town, and you're at the lake edge within a minute. Highly recommend staying at Lakeshore Springs to all

Room tip: Book directly with The Moorings, who manage 4 of the Lakeshore Springs Apartments, to ensure you get all the little extras they provide.

The 3 bedroom apartment had everything you could ask for plus a sauna! Great location 2 minutes walk from the heart of Wanaka. The view from the main bedroom and lounge area is simply spectacular. Great fire place just adds to the ambience. The friendly owners will even loan you their gorgeous dog Keira if you are missing your fur baby! Would definitely stay here again.

Room tip: Only the main bedroom had a view.

Thanks for taking the time to review - much appreciated. The view from the lounge area at the Lakeshore Apartments certainly is special. Keira loves being taken for a walk by our guests so it is good all round.

We have stayed at lake wanaka many times, but on this occasion paid a premium price and stayed at lakeshore apartment 'D'.

The location is undoubtably a great spot, the accomodation is spread across three levels, floor to ceiling glass with small balcony overlooking lake wanaka. Modern kitchen, sauna, three bedrooms.

Having stayed at other accom venues I was rather disappointed in this place for he price we paid @ $700 per night. Walls were scuffed, bedding downstairs was marked, many lights weren't working, heater was faulty and the place wasn't very well cleaned. There was no added extras such as basics (soap), extra towels (only allowed one towel each for 4 nights!!!!!), and it wasn't serviced throughout our stay.

I think the operators of this establishment clearly have one thing in mind and that is to churn customers in and out.

Don't get me wrong it's still a great location and the apartment has potential to be in a catergory reflective of the tariff but personally I felt our money was way better spent at the resort two doors down being lakeside apartments where you get he same amount of space, plus aparment servicing, pool, BBQ facilities plus lots more.

For those travelling with kids, particularly young, and given the property is three levels they sleep quiet a long way away on the ground floor. Whereas the master suite is on the top floor.

Kitchen is reasonably equipped

Car parking - own garage attached to unit

The apartment is conveniently located close to town, with easy walking distance and close to the playground

Thanks for taking the time to review your stay at Lakeshore Springs.

Villa D which you stayed in is not part of the Villa pool managed by The Moorings.

Please be assured the Villas managed by The Moorings are fully maintained and are cleaned to the same high standard of The Moorings Motels and Apartments. We also offer at our Villas a full range of quality bathroom amenities and linen.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment facing the lake. Amazing views, and location was great, so close to town, only a 4-5 minute walk. Super comfortable, really well fitted out and equipped with everything you need. Loved the sauna! Serviced by the Moorings who were brilliant, really friendly and keen to help. Price on the high side but good value for what you get, and not too bad if you compared the cost of having to get two Hotel/Motel rooms to sleep everyone. Will definitely stay again.
