some lovely planes, a sky hawk, vampire and a hurricane replica and a Mach1 Mustang all lovingly restored. Good to get you in the mood for warbirds over Wanaka

Good feedback on our cars. A heads up that we have a very "special" vehicle coming soon.

Not sure if this place really knows what it is...........at least four themes of which most are completely unrelated. No interactive experiences...all static behind the ropes stuff. Had to ask the staff for entry prices. Not displayed. Give it a miss!

Thanks for your posting. Just to clarify for others that the New Zealand Fighter Pilot's Museum closed in March 2011. We opened in December last year and while we have five Warbirds and lots of airforce history on display we are also about a lot more such as our classic cars, NZ Art and the Sir Tim Wallis story.

There was not much offered for the $20 admission fee. Very few planes & cars. The Omaka Aviation Museum was far superior.

With 30 Classic Cars and 5 Warbirds plus a NZ Art exhibition and the Sir Tim Wallis story we believe we offer a lot for our visitors.
