This is a great place to stay in Wanaka. It is very comfortable, quiet location, and Alex and Christina are very friendly and can help you with every thing you need to know about the area.
The Chalet has full size kitchen so you can make your own meals just like at home if you want to.
We will definitely stay here again.....its perfect for us.

Christin and Alex were exceptional hosts. Christine went out of her way to make "gluten-free" cookies and breakfast alternatives for myself - a most welcome "small touch" that shows their dedication to making guests as comfortable and welcome as possible. Alex and Christine were both quite helpful in offering information about restaurants, things to see, and activities within the Wanaka area. We all felt very welcome and part of the family. the accommodations were quite comfortable and well appointed. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Wanaka. Vielen Danke!!!

We had booked the studio that offered plenty of space. It was very clean and we had everything we needed. The breakfast was very delicious and the owners were very friendly and helpful. If we would come again to Wanaka we would stay there again.

Summary: Excellent hosts, cosy and well equipped place, and conveniently located near town (5 mins drive).

Alex and Christine were wonderful hosts, answering all our queries about Wanaka. The room is well equipped with a CD player, well equipped (but small) kitchen, fridge, toaster, water boiler, and WIFI. Everything looks brand new.

I do believe they have another bigger room for a family.

Great place to stay for a couple of nights!

Every aspect of this accommodation has been set up to very high quality standards. Having even basic items like cutlery and glassware to a high standard makes a stay so much more enjoyable. Attention to detail is brilliant, resulting in the most comfortable stay we had in New Zealand regardless of price. Hosts are super-helpful with useful friendly advice. And having high quality professional sports massage on site is a bonus!

We spent three wonderful days in Wanaka in February 2011 at the self-contained studio.

Alex and Christine and their beautiful children, Josephine and Lukas, are a remarkable family that make you feel you are at your closest friends’ home. They are warm and helpful and certainly they were our best hosts in New Zealand.

The accomodation was quiet, super clean and comfortable. The wooden interior details give a sense of cozyness and the whole place gives you an idea that someone was thinking of you all the time while planning the smallest details. The small wooden deck is a good introduction to Wanaka’s outdoors life style. It invites you to relax, have some wine while enjoying the night’s silence and the beautiful Wanaka’s sky.

Breakfast time was always very special. There was a fireplace lit, good conversation and they made us feel very special.

Thank you Alex and Christine for all your attention and for this fantastic stay!
NZ is far away from Brazil, but we really look forward to coming back soon!
