My wife and I needed a stop over point between Queenstown and Christchurch. This fit the bill perfecftly. The drive is beautiful. My check boxes are clean, comfortable bed, hot water, and welcoming host. Aoraki gets all checks. There is a super market and a number of resteraunts within walking disance. I had aksed Cory for some recommondations for some local beers before I walked over tot he store, and he was kind enough to go o his fridg and grab me a couple to sample. They have discount coupons for a couple of the resteraunts and will call to reserve a table. We were there in July, off season, and the town was a little "sleepy". There's probably more going on during the busy season. "Sleepy" was just fine for us. We drove up to Lake Pukaki and took the road along the lake uup to Mt. Cook. Highly recommend it.

I can absolutely recommend this beautiful B&B . A friendly, guest oriented young family. The room was very clean and comfortable. A good restaurant and a little supermarket are just around the corner. We also had the chance to visit spectacular boot races.

We stayed for 3 nights in February and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious, and there was plenty of choice for breakfast. The evening drinks were a great idea and we enjoyed meeting the other guests. Anita and Korey are very helpful, regarding things to do in the area, and they have lots of information regarding restaurants etc.We used this as a base for visiting Mount Cook, and would definitely recommend Aoraki Lodge.

We stayed one night in this cozy, homey B&B. We enjoyed the beautiful garden too. The service provided by Korey and Anita, who had only took over this B&B a few months ago, was impeccable: friendly reception, discount in the neighbouring restaurant "Poppies"( We can also recommend this fine restaurant), and lots of advice concerning landmarks and things to see etc. Breakfast was a real treat. When in Twizel: book here !

stayed in Aoraki Lodge for 2 nights. Very friendly reception. Enthousiastic couple hosts this nice place near the centre of Twizel. Met 2 lovely american guests at the "welcome party". Anita and Korey helped us out with our program for the next day and had good advice on where to eat. Really made you feel at home.
Room was lovely, nice bathroom and spacious. Definitely will go there again.

We spent two nights here and were well looked after by our hosts Korey and Anita, as well as their two young children. Room was comfortable, shower excellent and scrambled eggs delicious! Nice to see a different side of NZ from the big resorts.

Comfortable and clean room. We had a good cooked breakfast and the hosts, Korey and Anita, are friendly and show great hospitality. Korey and Anita took over this b&b only recentely and they are doing a great job!
