“Dream location, absolutely fabulous!”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

My husband , son and I spent 4 glorious days at Navutu Stars immediately prior to Cyclone Evan. We had cancelled our other accommodation in Fiji to extend our time in navutu stars the first day we arrived. We loved everything about this place and would gladly return. The bungalows are classic minimalist style which have all that you require The food was exceptionally good, the staff were really friendly and lots and lots of fun. Watti is an amazing performer, truly talented ! Loved hearing about village life from Etti, and Brandon and Stephen are just fantastic, really grounded fun loving personalities who give visitors a truly personal experience.
My 17 year old son loved this place. It is truly special. Hi to you all from Seamus , Catherine and Aidan. Would love to visit you again in the future.

Navutu Stars and it was lovely. The staff welcomed you with singing, ukeleles and delicious coconut milk. The staff and management were happy, smiling and took very good care of us. The room was top knotch. Kikau knows how to make fantastic cocktails. The complimentary massage is enjoyable and therapeutic.

I can't say enough about the staff at this resort. They went above and beyond to make this trip very enjoyable. The service is excellent. Food was great. This is a small resort and very private So you come to know everyone quickly. Be aware this is different from your bigger full service resorts. There is a preset set time for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner everyday( no other food available). The beach was a big disappointment. No swimming from noon to 4 pm because the tide dries up the beach in front of the resort. You can take a five minute walk to swim in a very shallow spot beside the resort. The resort does provide a daily snorkeling trip free of charge. There are also kayaks to use free of charge with no time limit on use. You can easily take them to the many little deserted beaches around the resort to swim. Be aware that there is no air conditioning in your room. Although the fans in the room are very powerful so it was easy to sleep. Although getting ready for dinner was hard because as soon as you get out of the shower you start sweating again. Remember this resort is on a small remote island so there are a lot of flies and bugs and that was a bit annoying. If your looking for a resort that is true to Fiji then I would recommend this resort.

We just got back from a visit to Yageta and Navutu Stars and it was wonderful! From the time of our most welcoming arrival to our sad departure it was a lovely experience. The island is just right, not too big and not too small. Same with the resort if you like small, quaint places. They describe this place as being for the 'sophisticated castaway' and I couldn't agree more. It is just luxurious enough to be most comfortable and enjoyable in all ways (rooms, beds, food, activities and resort staff) but not too nice where it seems completely out of place in the remote part of the world. We absolutely loved the daily snorkeling trips and sea kayaing on our own most anywhere we wanted to go. The food was outstanding and the drinks too. The hotel staff and general managers were very nice and approachable for casual conversation and for learning about the island, the local village or things to do. There were couples from many parts of the world staying when we visited and everyone got to know each other by first name. We knew most of the staff by first name too as we saw most everyone everyday. Evening cocktails at the beach view bar became a favorite to swap stories of the day and travels in general. Another heart-warming thing we found out is that this resort leads a program for Fiji people living on this island and the surrounding islands to receive health checks ups and treatment by doctors, dentists and opthamologists that donate their time and service. Another business that gives back the their local environment and culture. I love that!

We spent a week at Navutu Stars resort in September 2012. We chose this resort based on the fantastic trip advisor reviews, and it did not disappoint! We cannot say enough positive things about our experience. The food was some of the best we have ever had, and it was served by the most fantastic and upbeat employees we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, from the food & wine to the scuba diving & village visits. We highly recommend this resort to any couple considering a trip to beautiful Fiji!

Room Tip: We stayed in Garden Bure #2, and it was wonderful. The room was very private. Even if cost was not...

One of the best holidays of our lives. The staff are an example of excellent service surpassed by anything we had experienced before. Everyone was genuine and friendships that easily formed. The island is an example of heaven on earth, true perfection. We will never forget this paradise and highly recommend it as our preferred destination.

We booked for 5 nights but unfortunately got interupted by a Cyclone. This resort is more casual than you imagine at time of booking, but now we have been there it was perfect and is set in a fantastic location with amazing staff and management. You get the impression again when booking that the food will be "fine dining' but it isn't, but you do not go hungry, the choices are great and there were no complaints. You do have to realise how remote you are and once submersed in the atmosphere of the place it doesn't really matter. The beach front bures are huge and private. There were some slight issues that were raised with the manager in passing ( no complaints) and they accepted this and I won't mention as it really doesn't make a lot of difference. Not many places we would go back to but this is one. Thanks guys.

Room Tip: Go Beach front furtherest from main buildings more privacy not that it makes a lot of difference.
