Nice location but not much choice in Suva for good hotels. Standard breakfast, lunch and dinner menus will please most but if you stay over a week it can get monotonous. Rooms are clean. A good business hotel as the internet is fast but expensive and no wifi in the rooms(but this is sad Accor signature).

Great place to stay for a relaxing time. Close to Suva
The food was good but expensive. However if you go for the snack list it's filling & a lot cheaper. The scenery surrounds beautiful You even have a pillow selection. Some good local entertainment

My family have been coming here for years. This hotel has been recently done up and the experience is stunning. This beats any hotel in the main Centre of suva itself and definitely the best value for money. The morning breakfast is the best! And the doorman pita deserves a payrise. He makes every trip to this hotel worth while. Also the trip to mosquito island is highly recommended.

We've stayed at the Novotel Lami Bay Suva for 6 nights from 4th till 10th august 2013.
Room, staff, restaurant were exactly what we expected for such an hotel.
We had breakfast every morning which was just plentiful with awesome views of the bay, however we had diner just once, we often got out to try some restaurants downtown Suva.
Location of hotel is perfectly situated at the entrance of the Fijian capital city, we had a rental so it was fine for us.
Happy hour cocktails each evening was just perfect.
We mainly stayed there for business, and everything was ok to do that, internet in the room was only working with Lan cable, however i suspect my computer having wifi problem at that time.
The only thing to be mentionned is that our towels were not put back in the room until 5 or 6 pm each day, we had to call reception to get them, which can be a little bit annoying after a long business day, but it was fine.
We found the mattress was just a little bit too soft for our backs, but it was not an issue.
We didn't try the pool as it was too cold for us, it's the season !
We used clothes laundry washing service at the end of our stay and our clothes were back in time very efficiently.
Maybe the only issue would be for the entrance room door to be more "noise insulated" from the opposite room, but it was ok again.
We would definitly recommand this hotel for business or pleasure.

One night stay in Suva, hotel situated on the bay in Lami. Less than attentive staff, and defiantly missing the Fijian warmth we experienced at all other Accor properties on the Island. No offer of porterage to the room upon arrival and with 3 large suitcases to hike up the stairs (no lift), and to the last room on the corridor, i was less than impressedRoom clean and met expectations, could do with chairs on the balcony. Swimming pool very small and I would not recommend swimming in the bay as several very large ships docked right next to the hotel.

The first room that I took was about $158 fjd it was the classic garden view room had a queen and single bed room was very spacious but the bathroom was very old it smelled a little as well. Second day of my stay we decided to change the room the ocean view room for about $208 fjd stayed at novotel for 3 nights the best thing I did was to move the bathro was new with new high end furnishing even in the room the size of the room was a little small but perfect for a couple we really enjoyed it. On sunday morning around 6 am while we are sleeping my bf heard someone open the door and they just walked in, left the card in the door and took the one from the inside luckily my bf woke up on time and the two workers just left! Called the reception the lady told me she didn't know the room was occupied! I mean your the receptionist how do you not know! Later om the day the manager called and apologized for what happend and since we moved from the previous room to this one he didn't charge anything to compensate for what happened. P.s these workers just barging in your room happened twice once in the classic garden room this lady I believe it was housekeeping just came in. Other than workers walking in your room without your concern everything was good. Good food quiet and calm friendly and very helpful Staff. Clean room I actually would definitely goback to novotel in decembe.
