I was travelling with my 5 month old baby & the staff were really helpful. My babies food was prepared (as I wanted),& a nanny was provided, who was just superb & she even freshened my baby to perfection! Most say that was a bit nervous as it was my babies first trip but thanks to the helpful staff----travelling made easy!
Though, must advise management that the sitting arrangement outside the room was spoilt by rain! Solution:get stand umbrellas!
P.S--REALLY HELPS BEING AN ACCOR CARD MEMBER!

Room Tip: Rooms in the 300's are excellent. Though a 3 minute walk 4rm reception but really quiet and the scene is excellent!

The rooms are tidy, spacious, and modern. The bed is not very comfortable though, and was always squeaking; I called the reception and complained about it; they said they were going to send the manager, but they didn't. Anyhow the hotel is environmentally friendly and the view from the room is nice and relaxing: few small islands in the middle of the sea, nice sunset, yachts passing by. The pool is small and not very impressive; the lounge area and bar are comfy and nice... The location of the hotel is good knowing that there are few hotels in Suva that are in a calm area and overlook the sea.

The Hotel was clean except for cigarette butts in the gardens outside all rooms. Cleaning inside was fine however service levels were very poor in other areas.
30 minute waitng time for drinks and 45 minute waiting time for snacks is excessive.
Issues with $ amounts on service tabs on every occassion. Boats pulling up at wharf during dinner and filling the resaraunt with diesel fumes.

I stayed 70 days in this hotel. Room was clean, modern and tidy
Moved rooms 3 times due to Air condition failure [not a problem]
Found that if you left messages at the front desk for House cleaning they never received the message,
House cleaning staff were very friendly and the room was always well cleaned.
The restaurant need to look at changing it menu or special a little more regular, found staying there as long as I did that the menu became uninspiring so I regularly went out for meals.
Rooms have a nice small deck but no furniture on it!
Good location out of the bustle of Suva ...road traffic can be noisy

This is a great place to stay when visiting Suva although it is a 10 minute taxi ride outside of the town, this can be a relief. There hotel has a good waterfront location with all rooms getting sea views and the rennovated rooms having a good interior. The restaurant is also good with high quality food at reasonable prices, the local curry is highly recommended! My only criticism.....they have no snacks to go with drinks at the bar and they have always run out of tamarind chutney to go with the great curry....BRING YOUR OWN!!

Room Tip: Half of the rooms are newly rennovated so ask for these although for families the unrennovated rooms are larger.

The hotel does have a lovely location and more and more guest are choosing to stay with us for this reason, we will pass onto the team your comments about our tamarind chutney shortage and do apologise, we will review why this happened and ensure it will not happen again. Also we have just introduced a new menu which now provides for three curry options daily, something to look forward to on your next visit with us.
