We stayed at the Radisson for 5 nights in September 08 and loved it. With two young children 4 years & 18 months we found that the one bedroom lagoon suite with king bed was plenty big enough with views over the pool and out to the ocean. The kids had a ball in the pool and in particular on the water slide. There was an adults pool and spa as well which was a nice escape. Great location with the bula bus travelling around denarau so you could visit other resorts as well. The beach was not like those in Australia and looked slightly muddy, however the pool was so large that we had no desire to swim in the ocean anyway. Room Service breakfast was expensive and I cant comment on the food in the restaurants at the radisson as we didnt eat there. Food in the resorts was slightly more expensive than if you ate at the Port. We found most of the food to be on par with what we pay in nice restaurants in Australia. I have also been to Bali & Thailand and nothing in Fiji was overly cheap. We hired a car for the duration of our stay and visited villages and travelled down the Coral Coast visiting some of the resorts along the way such as the Naviti , Warwick & Shangra-lai. These resorts were nice however they were too isolated for us. Once you were in the resort you would have to stay there and it was also about 1 1/2 hours out of Nadi. We went to Natadola Beach which was lovely and you could go for a horseride on the beach and the girls got their hair braided. The fijian people were just beautiful and loved the kids. Kids club at the radisson was great. They took kids from around 4 years and you could put them in from 9am - 1pm, 2pm - 5pm & 5.30pm - 10pm all for $20.00. They were wonderful with the children. Each night the resort has a torch lighting ceremony and during our stay we also went to a fijian floor show and kava ceremony. I also saw on the activities board they did basket weaving & aqua aerobics amongst other things. We went on the Sagatoka River Safari which was the highlight of our stay in fiji. It was absolutely fantastic.
