We (Kiwi couple with a young daughter) stayed one night in a two bedroom unit while on our way to the Island Vomo Island Resort. The Fiji Beach Resort is brand new. The rooms we stayed in were huge, very contemporary, and well appointed, but ours faced the restaurant and a very noisy band played quite late. There seem to be numerous pools - some for kids, others reserved for adults. The staff are very friendly as is usual in many Fijian resorts, and unusually so for quite a big place. The food's a real let down if you're used to good quality Kiwi or Australian eating out -- we were confronted by a sad and restricted buffet. The beach is a real disappointment as all are on Denarau - at low tide it's muddy and there's no snorkelling to speak of.
