4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2013

Enormous 2 story terraces with full kitchen and laundry facilities. The master bedroom is massive. Free wi-fi. Poolside bar.
Friendly staff.
Very close to the port with all of its eating options, chemist and supermarket.

There were several of us (3 couples, 2 kids, and 2 singles) and we stayed in a 3-bedroom and an adjacent 2-bedroom apartment. They are self contained, with a washer/dryer, and was very roomy for all of us when we all got together for breakfast. The small terrace was sufficient for us to sun dry our wet water shoes (which dried quickly in the Nadi sun). And the kitchen was very well equipped though it would have been handy to have a dish rack (I can't remember if there was a dishwasher).

The staff were very helpful and very friendly and the Terraces are located opposite the marina so walking to shops and restaurants were literally across the road. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Denarau.

We stayed in a privately-owned apartment( 108) which we rented from a contact in NZ. It was on the ground floor and just a few steps across the garden to the pool. The pool area is lovely- the weather was good and the pool gets slightly warmer than some hotel pools so you don't wince with the cold when you get in- it is good for those who want to swim laps too and it overlooks the golf course. I bought one very nice brunch at the poolside cafe on the day we left- delicious and affordable.
The best thing about the Terraces is its location so close to the Port so that you have a choice of restaurants and bars which are not over-priced on the whole, as they don't have a captive audience like the big hotels do. Bula bus goes to the other resorts- as there were 4 of us it was cheaper to get a taxi for $4-5 altogether rather than pay $8 each if for a single trip ( obviously it is better to use the Bula bus if you wish to go back and forth all day, but we had walked to them and just wanted a one-way trip back)

Bulla.

We decided we wanted the option of being more self-contained than a resort offers & The Terrace Apartments absolutely delivered. We booked a two room apartment, we were not expecting the rooms to be so roomy & well appointed. The large balcony overlooking the pool & golf course was fabulous to relax on after a busy day.

Above all, the location of The Terraces is superb being on the doorstep of the Port with its choice of restaurants & shops & with the Bulla Bus arriving on the doorstep every 1/2 hr, all the resorts are easily accessible if desired.

We found all the staff to be friendly & helpful & I would happily & readily recommend it & look forward to another stay in the future.

Venaka!

We booked a 1 bedroom apartment for 2 nights post island stay. Excellent location adjacent Denarau Marina offered easy access for shopping and to restaurants, shops & cafes. Be aware that shops don't open until 8am so if you want supplies prior to that, pick them up from a supermarket in Nadi on your way through. (In fact do that anyway as Yees at Denarau is ridiculously expensive - $12 for 1 litre of juice!) We really enjoyed our breakfasts on our terrace overlooking the pool. You can also have light breakfast from the pool cafe or walk over to the marina (2 minutes away) for meals.
Beds were comfy and the apartment offers everything you need for a self-contained stay. Similarly kitted out to a caravan park cabin in Australia. Don't know that I'd want to spend much longer than a couple of days but it's certainly an affordable option for anyone wanting to use it as an economical base.

My husband and I just stayed at The Terraces Resort for 5 nights and cannot speak highly enough of our stay. We were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment which was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were spotless and the housekeeping ladies were so friendly and did a fantastic job. We liked that the room had a washing machine and dryer, a fridge and a microwave.
We went and had lunch at the poolside cafe and have to say the beef burger I had was the nicest burger I had in Fiji. It left the Hardrock cafe burger for dead! We liked that the resort was close to Port Denarau shops and terminal so we could walk there. We would thoroughly recommend The Terraces to anyone who wants to know where to stay while in Fiji.

Our family consisting of Mum, Dad, 2 teens & 1 almost teen stayed at the Terraces for 6 nights. This was our first trip to Fiji and we were delighted with our choice of accommodation. We received a friendly welcome at reception upon arrival and this set the scene for the rest of our stay. Everyone was very nice and I'd like to give a special mention to the lady that worked at the tour desk, she was very helpful and friendly.
We had a two bedroom apartment which was on two floors. We had two bathrooms that each had a large powerful shower (no bath which we didn't need) and then a toilet downstairs off the kitchen as well. The apartment had a full size fridge with freezer at the bottom, a microwave, and even a dishwasher which we used for our glasses and breakfast dishes as we ate breakfast in the apartment every morning. There was also a top loading washing machine and dryer. I laughed when my son said I would be in my element as there was even an ironing board and iron! What has my life become???
Each floor had its own balcony with outside furniture. The sliding doors had fly screens so you could go to bed at night with just those closed. There were ceiling fans in every room and above the main balcony as well as air conditioning units in the bedrooms and the main living area so we could be very comfortable indoors. The linen was all fresh and clean. The rooms were serviced every day and I loved the fact that we weren't pressured to vacate while they cleaned. One day we were on a go slow and at 12:30 they gave us a courtesy call to ask if we'd like our room serviced which we declined for the day..
Another thing they provide is a decent quality hair dryer so I didn't need to pack mine and they also supplied beach towels for the pool and were happy for us to take them with us on our day trip to an island so I hadn't needed to pack those either. I'll know better next time :)
The apartments look out over the beautifully manicured gardens of the resort and then onto the golf course next door so it was a lovely green vista with the pool area to break it up which was also very nice. The family loved the pool area and unlike another larger resort we visited for the morning, it was not overcrowded and bursting with noisy holiday makers. And there was no battle for a sun lounger. All very relaxing and civilized.
The only negative I feel worth mentioning was the little kiosk by the pool. It held so much promise but was a huge disappointment. The only drinks we could get were mocktails which were delicious but we would have quite liked something a little stronger. There were beer mats advertising the local beer but they didn't sell it. There was wine in the fridge we could see but apparently that wasn't for sale either. Not really sure what it was for. They had a really small food menu, we asked for wedges but they weren't available so we ordered a bowl of fries and they came out soggy and swimming in oil. They guy behind the kiosk worked long hours and was very friendly but I just can't understand what was going on. It was like they were winding it down.
It didn't matter though and didn't affect our enjoyment because 2 minutes walk away at the marina were many very nice restaurants. We were spoilt for choice and chose a different restaurant every night. Each one had its own identity and we enjoyed them all. At the marina there is a grocery shop which was useful and some other tourist shops. Our kids enjoyed the freedom of being able to pop over the road and get themselves a drink, ice cream or whatever without needing the parents to accompany them.
Car hire was available at the resort and we hired one for the day and that was fun.
All in all a very happy holiday and we thank the Terraces for looking after us!
