We recently stayed at the Sheraton Villas at Denarau. We had a two bedroom villa and it was very comfortable, well laid out and very well equipped. Ours was not beachfront, but still had a pleasant outlook over a couple of ponds. It was an easy walk to the lovely pool area and you can walk under cover all the way to the hotel reception and restaurant areas. Overall the service was OK, however found the food very expensive. Also booked a taxi through reception for the morning we left, however it didn't arrive!! Had to quickly arrange another one ourselves. However we did enjoy our stay there and would use the villas again, nice having a bit more space than just a hotel room.

Room Tip: Don't expect anything to be done in a hurry!!!

Everything was great for our family......the pools were awesome, bar service, weather, housekeeping were all fantastic. We had booked a two bedroom sea front villa but they placed us in a two bedroom lagoon villa for 4 nights till our room was ready.....I never found out what the problem was.....to compensate us, they gave us free buffet breakfast which was good. The flies were awful.....apparently the cyclone brought them in. The Westin was shut for repairs due to cyclone damage so unfortunately we never got to use those facilities which we'd heard were great.
Kids club was ok......but not as amazing as it could be & I've heard other resorts are.
My fiji were great......
The south sea cruise was a real disappointment so all in all...it was fantastic but there were a few downers......having said that, we would definitely return...now that we know exactly which pools, which restaurants etc appeal to us.

Room Tip: Go for the sea front villas

Dear nickyg,

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience with us. I was pleased to read that you overall you enjoyed your stay at Sheraton Fiji Resort.

Following Tropical Cyclone Evan, we did experience some challenges, including immediate maintenance in some guest rooms, the temporary closure of the Westin resort and facilities, and an influx of flies. I am sorry that this impacted on your stay with us. Rest assured our services and facilities throughout our complex have been renewed and restored, and intensive pest control undertaken. I do hope you will choose to stay with us again on your next holiday to Fiji. Kind regards, Scott MacDonald

We can not speak highly enough about our holiday at The Sheraton Denarau Villas.
From the moment we arrived at the Sheraton we were treated like VIP's. We were welcomed by being escorted to our Villa to sign in, cocktails, champagne and fruit basket awaited us and as we settled in a beautiful welcome song sung by our room attendance. The room was clean, the surrounding grounds maintained to profection and ever staff member ( including construction personnel ) greeted us with the friendly BULA no matter what time of day it was. A HUGE VINAKA to everyone for The Best Holiday EVER and making us feel like family.

Room Tip: We had a 2 bedroom seafrount Villa right across from the Wet Bar. FANTASTIC LOCATION could see the ocean and islands, so relaxing.

We spent 5 days at the villas recently and had the most amazing time. The villas were well maintained, spacious and sported great amenities. Apparently they are being renovated, so will be modern and even more beautiful once complete. We stayed in a garden villa and had a beautiful view, with a glimpse of the sea also! The pool was magical, and the swim up bar was exactly what we wanted to relax, drink in hand, watching the world pass by. While it rained for the majority of our stay this did nothing to diminish our spirits nor those of the staff - always friendly, helpful and smiling! And when the sun came out, the vibrant colours of the garden, pools and surrounds really were astonishing. There were activities on the go you can join into through the day and having the ability to charge back to your room in neighbouring resorts made for an easy walk along the beach to turn into dinner or drinks without having to worry. We had breakfasts included each morning - yum! Omelettes prepared at our request accompanied with a variety of delicious foods, fruits and pastries are an excellent way to start the day! The only small downfall of the villas were the in-house movies were not working due to damage from weather - but our queries were met quickly and with as much information given as possible. The food and drinks can be expensive in Denarau but there are certainly cheaper options available and shops nearby. The Bula bus is a great, cheap way to get around. I would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday. Thank you to the staff at the Sheraton. Bula, Vinaka :)

For the firat time in a long time, my family (with 3 teenagers) and I had a fantastic holiday.Sheraton Denarau Villas is a great resort. we had a villa, there are 2 large bedrooms that can be closed off with a small kitchen, lounge room and dining room between the bedrooms and this worked very well for us.The pools are clean and relaxing the resort is always spotless and the food in the resorts is of good quality, but a bit pricy.Every thing is central and all the restaurants at the marina and other resorts are easily reached by the "bula bus".A special mention has to go to My holiday centre and My fiji. All flights, transfers and accomodation bookings worked out smoothly as promised, thouroughly happy with the package they put together.
We would certainly recommend the Sheraton Villas and will look to return on our next trip to Fiji.
