“A worthwhile dining experience”
Reviewed July 12, 2014 via mobile

It is rare you come across the attention to service that we experienced at this restaurant.

Tucked away at the Marina we sat outside (table of 7) and enjoyed an evening of laughter and a good level of interaction with the staff. They offered up menu suggestions without being pushy and even suggested we share mains to sample the many choices.

There was a trio of local Fijian singers on guitars who's mixed up the song list with local and international selections. Between each couple of songs it was 'Kava Time'.

We ate prawn coconut curry, duck curry, trout and the chicken and beef sizzling plate which everyone enjoyed. The servings were generous and arrived together which is a must.

The staff (including the chef) sang a birthday song to someone on our table which was a real buzz.

A great evening and highly recommend. We will return for another meal before we leave.

We caught the Westbus from Sheraton (70c Fijian one way) to the roundabout near the Marina and then walked about 200m to the Marina. Much better than the $8 return for the Bula bus. The Westbus stops at the Marina for the return journey to the hotel.

“Fantastic food, the best at the Marina!!”
Reviewed July 10, 2014

It was a shame that we went there for dinner the last day of our trip as we would have definitely come back! After trying all around Fiji for authentic food, this was definitely the best. Service, food and ambiance were all fantastic.

We had the prawns for entry, the coconut prawns and the beef curry as mains. All of them were absolutely fantastic. The kids had grilled chicken that they also loved. We also had the coconut smoothie (worth a try)

Staff were super friendly and there were two guys singing and drinking Kava which they shared with us. The kids ended singing and playing guitar with them. A place 100% recommended for a great night out!

“Good family outing”
Reviewed July 8, 2014

Very very friendly staff who made us feel warmly welcome. Tried the Kova fish and chicken but it lacked flavour and was bland. It certainly did not live up to the menu promise. Star of the night was the beef rib. Big plate of tasty food.

“Genuine experience”
Reviewed June 30, 2014

It was good to be able to experience genuine Fijian cuisine whilst staying at Denarau. We had been shocked to find an Italian restaurant at our resort and it was lovely to find the Nadina at the Marina instead. We sat outside on the deck, beside the water whilst enjoying the atmosphere and genuine hospitality of the staff.

“Best Quality and Value at the Marina!!”
Reviewed June 28, 2014 via mobile

BULA !!! We had great dinner meals there last week. The value is far better than the rip off seafood and steak restaurants nearby. I had a 700 gm grilled Lobster that was excellent and only $12 Fj per 100 gram, you choose the size. Way cheaper than the other places, you actually get the size you paid for and it is cooked correctly!!!
The lobster soup was excellent as was the fish curry and the prawns. Service was attentive and genuine unlike our other experiences at the marina. They enjoy their work and shared in plenty of laughs. Perhaps a little bit of Fiji time but easy to get service when required. Drinks were also good value.
Give this restaurant a try, it is far better quality and value than its competitors as per my other reviews.
