This is a tourist area but not a tourist trap. Here you'll find good fashionable clothing, banks, restaurants, and real estate agents. It's also the port from which most of the cruises emanate, and only a $FJ 10 taxi ride from any of the Denarau beach hotels.
The kids got wet enjoying the sporadic fountain jets in the central square. The shops have some good gear at relatively inexpensive prices, and if you buy a few they will do a deal on price. Lots of restaurants, the Indian was our favorite.
Much easier and more compact than a visit to crowded dusty Nadi.
