We went to Las Vistas for a late breakfast on our last day in Puerto Rico - a wonderful end to a great vacation. Gladys is a very gracious, charming hostess and her food is excellent. Everything is made from scratch including the hollandaise sauce on the Eggs Benedict and a mango jelly served with the arepas. We shared the fruit platter which was an assortment of tropical fruits from Gladys' garden or from elsewhere in Puerto Rico(the pineapple). Her basil lemonade is a must along with the delicious Puerto Rican coffee. The eggs Benedict and the omlet were excellent; be sure to order the arepas, too.
This is a place to sit, relax, eat delicious food and enjoy the spectacular vistas. We went around noon and did not need a reservation; if you go at an earlier hour, I would make a reservation - it is a small restaurant.
If you are staying at El Conquistador, you can walk from the marina through Las Croabas and up the hill - best to call for directions and it will be at least a 20minute walk.

My friends and I decided to check this place out, thanks to the TripAdvisor reviews. They were spot on! Gladys is a warm, efficient, attentive restauranteur who knows how to make her patrons feel welcome. The fresh fruit was a wonderful prelude to the most amazing eggs Florentine I have ever enjoyed! I usually avoid Hollandaise sauces, as they can be heavy and thick. Her homemade sauce was light yet rich in flavor. Divine! We especially enjoyed the homemade arepas. Light, flaky, and delectably complemented with her homemade mango jam. We had a little difficulty finding the place amidst the small, winding roads of Fajardo, but it was well worth the effort. Kudos to Gladys for offering a warm, tasty, local, rooftop dining experience. We enjoyed it so much, we had to make a return visit before heading to the airport. Don't miss this local gem!

Hands down the best restaurant experience we had in Puerto Rico (and we even dined at the number one spot in San Juan!). Local and fresh ingredients were expertly prepared. We only wish that we wouldn't have have waited until our last day to visit!

We first tried to visit this little breakfast/ lunch place, had a very hard time finding it, and arrived just as Gladys was getting ready to close up for the day. Happily we made reservations for the next morning, and had a spot on the beautiful deck waiting for us. Ocean views from both sides, with an umbrella for shade - perfect! We were greeted as old friends, and tried the famous fruit platter - famous with good reason! Unable to decide, we ordered a lot of food banana pancakes, coconut pancakes, french toast, eggs benedict, arepas.....Gladys tried to dissuade us, but we knew we were up to challenge! We did manage to eat it all, and our favs were the coconut pancakes, arepas with her homemade mango jelly, and perfectly cooked bacon! The basil lemonade was also noteworthy. Other reviews have warned that service is slow - we did not find this was the case. Leisurely, yes, but that atmosphere is carefully cultivated, and is part of the whole experience. We enjoyed chatting with a neighboring table, and relaxing over our delightful meal. Gladys other 2 servers were personable and timely with coffee and water refills. If you go, do call a day ahead for reservations. We did see others being turned away, and this is an experience you don't want to miss. Thank - you Gladys! Debbie, Brett and the girls!
