I have been waiting for this since I visited Puerto Rico for the first time some years ago:
A nice place to enjoy a good breakfast. Now it has not only come true, but it is so much more:
The owner Gladys transformed a roof top in Las Croabas, Fajardo into a lovingly designed open wir rooftop cafe. The vistas (hence the name) are nothing short of jawdropping: You can see the Natural Reserve with the lighthouse, the Bioluminiscent Bay and even as far as Culebra and Vieques. Note: DO visit the bathrooms :-)) Their vista is equally magnificent!
Not falling short of the vistas is the food: A selected menu of fresh fruit, eggs, steak, pasta, pancakes, french toast is available (try the eggs Benedict!) - coffee, tea, chocolate and soft drinks are the choices for drinks. And the coffee is even real Puerto Rican coffee, grown and produced on a small independently working hacienda.
Where to go on? The service! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly - above all Jose, the waiter and Gladys. Thank you for a couple of great starts into my days in Las Croabas/ Fajardo!
