We were staying nearby, so we reserved a spot for the English tour of the nature reserve before we arrived in Puerto Rico. We learned a lot of new things, visited a beautiful beach and lighthouse and were treated to spectacular views. The guide was very friendly, and on a hot day, it was nice that there wasn't a lot of walking involved. It would be great to combine this with another activity in the area if you were coming from San Juan. There are clean restrooms and a water fountain at the check-in area. As you drive along Seven Seas Beach, you will pass some tables and benches on the beach (left) side and then immediately after that you will see the gated entrance to the nature reserve on the left. Approximately a half hour before your tour, they will open the gate to allow you in.
