The pre-reception was superior to anything we have experienced so far. They called us at home at least a week prior to our arrival to confirm our plans and to give us the name of the driver who would pick us up at the SJ airport... Joel Transportation Services , Joel Felix Pena. Joel is
a 10!! There is no one else to call, in my opinion when you need a driver around the island!!
Fajardo Inn met all our expectations in comfort, ambience as to room, food, bar and location.
We will look forward to stay there again and again. Yes, the artwork on the walls and the solid wooden furniture in room and the grounds are so tasteful and welcoming not to mention the staff!! My first trip to Puerto Rico made truly unforgettable!

Well, I have family in Puerto Rico and I love to stay with them when I can, but when bringing more friends than I can force on family….I love this hotel!
The view of El Yunke is breathtaking! You can see the lush green trees along with the blue water and skies! Magnificant!
The hotel is just a few blocks from the best little bakery and the ferry to other small islands that one can unwind and relax. The rooms are clean, the food in the restaurant is delicious, and the staff is very friendly! Even if you stutter through the native language…the staff is more than helpful! For a great price….you get it all here!

Room Tip: We stayed in the top floor so we could enjoy a beautiful sunrise in the morning!

We stayed here as home base For my daughter's PR destination wedding we chose this hotel after visiting this area in April because of its very reasonable rates, pleasant family atmosphere, cleanliness, location close to our wedding venue and accessibility to the outer islands of Vieques/Culebra. Our wedding party of more than 50 had a great time. We were delighted with the great staff at the Fajardo Inn who took care of all the unexpected needs that surround a wedding. They answered our every call personally and guided us to needed vendors and taxi drivers. They allowed our party to leave our suitcases there while we went 3 days to Vieques. They even called me personally after our party had left PR to let me know a hammock had been left in one of the rooms and arranged its prompt return to the states. They sent a driver from their hotel to the San Juan airport when we were leaving to pick up the suitcase of an unknown hotel guest that our taxi driver had wrongly picked up and taken to the airport! That is conscientious service and care at its best! Thank you Fajardo staff!
On another note, we did not make much use of their pools or outside facilities because of rain but enjoyed the many areas to sit and hang out under covered roofs. The restaurant food was inexpensive ( though on island time) and good. We all met there daily for breakfast and some yummy lunches at the mexican restaurant. The rooms were comfortable and clean (especially spacious were the deluxe doubles w balcony.) We had our mexican rehearsal dinner there fully arranged by Marybell which was delicious, excellently catered and fun, she even allowed us to use their Music/karaoke machine for
the evening. If you are looking for an informal, casual place to stay in Fajardo with a great and
helpful staff I highly recommend The Fajardo Inn.

The Fajardo Inn is a wonderful place to visit, clean, well maintained with a courteous staff. It reminds me of an old world hotel. You must walk the hallways and look at the art. The food is excellent with good size portions. The pools are nice along with a mini golf course and a fitness center. Because Barbara & I live in Puerto Rico we visit the Inn several times a year. There is a marina near by with several catamarans available to take you snorkeling. Our favorite is the Spread Eagle II. The only draw back is you have to pay .25 cents for a bucket of ice.

We stayed here last week and had a good time. The room was comfortable and inexpensive. It's a great option if you want to see el yunque and the islands off the east coast of Puerto Rico. The room had a safe for our valuables and the property is beautiful with great views. We really enjoyed eating on the terrace in the morning and swimming a few times in the pool. The pool was clean and quiet! Very relaxing! I wish I spent more time by it...

The food was affordable and pretty good. The coffee was also good. Overall we were really satisfied with the value, in fact we didn't even bother checking out for the overnight trips we did on Culebra, we felt like we were saving enough money that we could leave our luggage and valuables in the room and enjoy some time without worrying about our stuff! We will be back!
