If you don't want the 900+ room Conquistadore, this is your beset bet for Fajardo. Nice setting, up on a hill, less than a mile from the ferries to Vieques and Culebra.
Very pleasant staff, attractive hilly layout w two pools, two restaurants (food is above average), expansive grounds, fitness center (which we did not use). Rooms w kitchen facilities )full fridge, sink, microwave). Quiet - except for the coquis.
If you're physically challenged, the hills and stairs might be a problem - though there is a ramp to the pool.
Minor flaws - no wifi (though iPhone reception was fine), sad pillows (like almost zero comfort), main pool doesn't open until 9, restaurant was missing a few items (perhaps b.c of 3 Kings weekend), only a few rooms w balconies, chairs to sit outside.
All in all, a nice place.More
