Awesome place 45 min from San Juan airport. The private island makes it all worthwhile. A free shuttle will take you every 30 minutes to the island to eat and layout. Great concept

Near the hotel just past the scuba shop at marina is a gate. Go out the gate and visit authentic PR. The food and beer is cheaper and the people are nice. However travel in a group as the walk is dark for a 300 yard distance. Tacos are 2.00 ea. versus a 64.00 lunch for two at the hotel

My wife and I just stayed here on our vacation. The facilities were clean and well-kept.
The food was pricey but Las Brisas (breakfast) and Stingray (diner) were excellent. Stacey, our hostess at Las Brisas was pleasant, well-organized and enjoyable to speak with each morning.
Sandra, Concierge went out of her way to mail a birthday card for us while there.
Palomino Island was the best part of the trip, clean and not overly crowded beach.
Overall, we had a really nice visit even though there were some disappointments but that happens no matter where you go.

I spent 6 days here with my husband and 2 children, ages 5 and 2. My 5 year old has Celiac disease and has to follow a strict gluten-free diet. We had never traveled without access to a kitchen before, so I was quite anxious about how this would work out. I called the manager of food services ahead of time and he was familiar with Celiac. He asked for my son's food preferences so they had gluten free foods he would like on hand during our stay. He and a head chef met us in the lobby at our arrival and answered any questions we had in person. Then, at every meal (there are several restaurants here), the chef came to our table, reviewed the food and preparation so we knew it would be safe. All of the waitstaff knew as soon as we sat down that our son needed a gluten free meal. I felt like we were royalty! The food was well prepared, fresh, and my son was so happy. It really made our vacation a happy and relaxing one!

Room Tip: I would definitely recommend staying in the main hotel

Stayed there after my wife finished conference, had to pay extra for everything, the drinks were expensive, but the most obvious thing is that this place is in need of a room makeover, melamine desks in bathroom, pealing wallpaper, as someone else mentioned for a Waldorf property it is dissapointing

First off, I had a great time and really enjoyed the golf, pools, private islands and kindness of the staff. The rooms are fine but the bathroom was BAD! About an inch of black dust or dirt in the shower. The toilet leaked a pool of water on the floor each day and the coffee cups had coffee stains in them. I pulled out the coffee cups the first night hoping they would get cleaned but four nights in a row the were not cleaned (I bordered on the definition of crazy). Well that's the room in a nut shell. Great view, free internet :), lame tv. The food was ok, full price $26 breakfast buffet with limited choices & $15 hamburgers are the best hot food we food. Banquet foodie if the same Luke warm and fine. The void of a casino decreases value as well. Fitness club a little behind the times too. Don't get me wrong I would go back but keep the room and dining expectations low. Don't know if Hilton can keep this one going for long.

My husband and I stayed here on vacation. The main hotel and grounds were lovely but our room down by the marina seemed old and not very well kept. Cabinet doors were held together with caulk and furnishings were not as luxurious as I would expect from the brand. The noise from the bar kept us awake as well. This is a place you can pretty much let older kids run free at. There are many pools, some water slides and a private island just off shore. Security is good but you do have to drive through a shady looking area to get to the resort. Overall, not a good value.

Room Tip: Stay in the main hotel, not down by the marina.

Stayed here for a weekend in February to attend a wedding. The resort itself is in a great location, however the place itself needs a lot of work. Our room was in main building overlooking the pool. Room smelled of mildew, and the bathroom was not well maintained. Dirty ceiling and shower tiles. Service was average, nothing exceptional. Beach island is cool but not easy to get to. If you forget something in your room it takes a while to get back. The beach itself is very nice. The concierge messed up our transfer to the airport. Food and drinks are average and overpriced. There are much nicer places to stay in Puerto Rico for the money.

We truly do value your opinion and thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. I understand that we did not meet your expectations, especially for cleanliness of the guestroom, and for that we do apologize. We most certainly have lofty standards, and in this case, we fell short of our own expectaions as well. We will certainly review this with our housekeeping staff, to prevent this from reoccurring in the future. We do hope that you would reconsider staying with us in the future if your travel plans do bring you back to Puerto Rico. We know we can do better.
