We stayed at El Con and this place was recommened, truth is we have been to many restaurants around the island and have the ability to compare. This restaurant is way to expensive for the type of restaurant...the food was good, the service was great but $200 dollars for chicken and steak is way to much!! With that said I would strongly recommend this place but just once. Enjoy!!!

La Estacion was one of the highlights of our first trip to Puerto Rico. When we arrived in Fajaldo, we walked by La Estacion where we saw a fisherman (still wearing his wet suit) jump out of his truck with a 20 pound live lobster (!) and take it directly into the restaurant. How often do you get to see a transaction like that? This sighting characterizes the entire restaurant, which places local delicacies and freshness above all. We dined there several times and can’t recommend it highly enough. Don’t miss the slow cooked BBQ Pork Spare Ribs with meat so succulent it practically fallls off the bone. We were told that the pork came from a pig farm, which is not only local but treats its animals humanely. As expected, the seafood was the epitomy of fresh and delicious. And what a pleasure it was to dine on fish and lobster that were caught just hours before they hit our plates! Chef Kevin really works wonders with the grill and creates outstanding sides to compliment each dish. "The Cocotasso", our favorite La Estacion signature cocktail, was created by Co-owner Idalia and translates into something like "that little rap that your mother gives you on top of your head with her knuckles." Sweet and powerful. The service was likewise first-rate, from the delightfully sassy hostess, Maglis, to Maybeline, our friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable server.

This was a fabulous restaurant in a converted gas station. We ate here twice on our trip and everything was excellent. I highly recommend the pinchos ( grilled meat with a delicious fruity barbeque glaze) as an appetizer to share or as your meal. Everything was very good! Beautiful outdoor seating and friendly waitstaff, a must if you are in Fajardo.

We ate here on our first night in Puerto Rico and the food was outstanding. We had the lobster mafongo, the skirt steak, and the grilled chicken with rice and beans and it was all phenomenal. Lovely little ambiance as well, delicious drinks, and helpful service.
