Used for midweek business overnights, this is truly a home from home. Don't expect state of the art decor or hi tech AV equipment, but you won't miss them - revel instead in the original period features and warmth of the welcome you'll receive. Clean, comfortable and in a superb semi-rural village location where your nearest neighbour is a mile away.

I have stayed at this secluded B & B on several occasions mid-week on business and it has suited my needs perfectly. Accessible by a long track, take care to follow the signs for the Golf Course rather than follow your Sat Nav which will take you down a badly potholed road. Your hosts are Heather and Malcolm Orr.

This family run house provides a step back in time. I have now used both rooms in the main house which differ only in that one is a double and the other is twin bedded. Both roomy and warm. Bath – No shower.

My breakfast needs do not extend to a full English breakfast and so the arrangements for a help yourself breakfast meet my needs perfectly. I understand there is a full English breakfast available at the Weekends.

For my evening meal, the Bakers Arms in the nearby village of Stock take orders up to 21:00 hrs and they have some great beers.

Pricing is appropriate.

Arrangements can be made for late arrival.

We've just stayed at this B & B to attend a family wedding at the golf club next door. We had a large double bedroom with en suite bathroom & all the facilities needed for a comfy stay. As there was a snowfall on the night of our stay the warm cosy house just a few steps away was very welcoming. We were very thankful for its close proximity to the venue and for the great help from our hosts the next morning when we were helped to move our car back on to the exit road. Thank you for your warm welcome!

We chose this B&B for its location, and luckily for us this came in handy when the snow fell and fell last night! Literally a stone's throw from the golf course.

We stayed in the annex with our two boys, the rooms were great especially as the children had their own room which allowed them to sleep when watching TV in the main room. It was lovely and warm and well equipped.

Breakfast was very filling and the owners lovely, helping us out of the snow pile to get us on our way.

Would definitely recommend, especially if you need somewhere close to stumble after an event at the golf course!

The farm house, buried in attractive countryside (next to a golf course) is tranquil and relaxing. The room was spacious and comfortable, with something of an 'old world' image; the couple who run it were thoroughly helpful and friendly.

Breakfast during the week was buffet (full English only on offer at the weekends) , but was ample.

All in all very good value.

We stayed at Crondon Park Farmhouse when attending a wedding at Crondon Park Golf Club. Absolutely perfect location - right next to the golf clubrooms so no taxis or driving required after the reception, but we weren't disturbed by any noise from the continuing festivities. Very comfortable rooms (we stayed in the twin room) with lovely views over the golf course. Really good full English breakfast in a bright & spacious breakfast room, and all for only £65 per room.
This is a perfect place to stay if attending a function at the Crondon Park Golf Club (itself a gorgeous venue). The only potential downside was no shower (only a bath) in the ensuite bathroom, which could be a bit inconvenient when getting dolled up (we arrived already dolled up, so it wasn't a problem for us). However, other rooms (there is also a double and a family room) may have showers... it would be worth checking when booking.
