We stayed here for one night..they only have two rooms.
Staff were everso friendly and efficient.
Our room was very comfortable with a terrific shower and plenty of wardrobe space.
Pillows a tad hard, down would have been nice, but we slept well...possibly helped by the party we attended in the nearby village!
Breakfast was a customised affair, whatever we wanted really. The toast was first class, thick slices of granary bread..I chose poached eggs, lovely!
Our ordered Sunday paper was waiting for us at the table.
The whole property is clearly extremely well loved and kept. The outside was freshly painted and the gardens looked superb.
Would recommend this as a good value stopover for sure (GBP80 per night incl breakfast)
Oh..and an incredible choice of Real Ales served straight from the barrel!!
