Hubby and I stayed here for 2 nights whilst we visited the Lofoten Islands. The Rorbuer was terrific, very cozy and warm, well appointed and comfortable. We had views of the harbour from our cabin even though we weren't right on the water front. The only downside was we had a cabin above us and with the wooden floors was very noisy with our neighbours clomping around.

You've seen the pictures. Can it really be that wonderful? Yes. Yes, it can. It's the perfect location (central to the best hikes and activities, stunning views and convenient food/amenities) with cozy cabins featuring the right balance of rustic charm and modern needs. This is why you wanted to go to Lofoten...so stop searching for something better and just book it.

These were the third rorbuer we stayed in on our cycling holiday and I enjoyed the stay very much. The cabin we were in was stylish and modern, but still with the flavour of the fisherman's cabin. Others in the group had rather more quirky, 'authentic', rustic experiences, so do discuss what type you want when you book.
The food in their restaurant was excellent and so too was the service. Reine claims to have one of the most beautiful views in Norway and they aren't exaggerating. In lovely weather it is amazing and so too is the whole coast road leading to Reine from the north. I can warmly recommend this place.

Room tip: Cabins vary greatly from modern to rustic, choose carefully

My wife and I visited Reine and ate lunch at Reine Rorbuer. In that beautyful nature - one of Norways best, we had a wonderful fish lunch consisting of newly caugth fish and fishcakes. Together with good service.

Dear guests,
We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed lunch and service at Gammelbua Restaurant, which specialises in fish and sea food dishes. Our fish is as fresh as it gets - we get it from neighbour fishermen. Hope to see you again.
Regards,
Alicja

The Rorbeurs are an iconic image of Norway, and this fabulous location in Reine presented a very enjoyable place to search for the Northern Lights

I would have no hesitation in returning here, friendly, spacious, and a truly unique experience

Thank you so much for sharing your experience from Reine Rorbuer. We have had excellent weather most of the spring and summer, but we cannot wait to see the Northern Lights again - soon to come! :) All seasons have got some charm here in West Lofoten and we hope to see you again in Reine!
