Owner description: La Maddalena Archipelago National Park is a geomarine protected area consisting of a group of islands situated in the north-east of the coast of Gallura, in the stretch of sea between Sardinia and Corsica known as Bocche di Bonifacio. These islands – except for La Maddalena Island housing the homonymous town and characterized by a significant human presence – are entirely deserted or scattered with small human settlements, like in Caprera and Santa Maria Islands.

“One beautiful day at sea”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2012

There are several ways to visit the Arcipelago by boat. We chose to go with Captain Carlo Spiga from Palau on his Pilotina Caprera one. We left at 11.00 a.m. and returned around 6.00 p.m. after three stops in beautiful bays, in three different islands for swimming in blue clear water. I had already been there in the past but every time is a unique and fantastic experience.

“Unforgettable experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 10, 2012

Taking a trip from the small city Palau of the Costa Smeralda with a boat and visiting the wild beaches of the Arcipelago was simply a unique experience. The price was rather cheap for what it had to offer. 30 EUR for the entire day on the boat and you could jump from the beat and swim to every small island, plus spaghetti with fresh sea food is definitely a winner. I would recommend this to everyone visiting Sardinia, Because it is something that you will remember ALWAYS.
