“Isla Paridita is the type of place you will want to go back for the rest of your life.”

I just got back from a trip to this island and it was such an incredible experience. The island itself is so rich in nature that you can just take a walk and enjoy the surroundings. The accomodations are rugged luxury all the way. The cabanas are minimal but have every luxury you would want (hot water, lights at night time, flushing toilets). The activities on the island are endless; snorkeling, swimming, hiking, exploring, bird watching, kayaking etc. Every outdoor lovers dream!

I also would highly reccomend taking advantage of the AMAZING spa treatments offered by Madeline. I purchased the "Complete Package" ($100) which includes: facial, face mask, body exfoilating scrub, body mask, natural hair treatment, manicure and pedicure. Such an incredible value! She makes a lot of her own proucts out of tropical fruits and oils and makes sure she uses the correct products for your particular skin and hair type. I felt like a princess when she was done with me!

One more thing to note about visiting this island, is the food you will eat it awesome! Everything is fresh and tastes healthier than in the states. We ate fresh fish or lobster (caught from around the island) almost everyday. Everything was simple, fresh and delicious.

Leaving Isla Paridita I felt more refreshed and healthy than any other trip I have been on. This is truly a magical place and I highly reccomend making a trip there. You won't regret it!

I can't even being to explain how amazing and wonderful Isla Paridita is for all types of travelers. We arrived on a speed boat to the island and were instantly taken aback by the luscious foliage and serenity of this magical paradise. It is a completely eco-friendly island with clear blue waters (you will want to float for days in this bath temperature water) and great hiking trails. We ate fresh fruit and fish (caught by our fabulous island care taker!) daily and hiked to the different beaches across the island. We also visited the lagoon where salt and fresh water shrimp live together! Truly a dream. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for the ultimate vacation getaway and I can absolutely say it was one of the best vacations of my life.

This place is like no other I have ever been, or will most likely ever go. It is truly your own private island! This island is a hidden gem!
One of the most beautiful and stunning places I have ever seen. It harkens back to a more simple time but does so with comfort and hospitality. There are four "cabanas" or "palapas" - two on the beach and two hugging the cliffs above the super blue Pacific. Each cabana is its own free-standing structure with an attached open-air shower made out of local stone. The decks have colorful and comfortable hammocks to enjoy the superb view and take a siesta after a long day of swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, reading, what ever you like! These cabanas are not your average hotel "room" as they seem to be constructed out of 100% eco-friendly material and blend seamlessly in with the lush environment. It feels like you have your own little beach house in paradise!
As the island is your to explore, there are numerous beaches within a short walk. Each time I walked to another little cove or long sandy beach I was struck with a feeling of discovery! These incredible beaches don't even have footprints on them... you are truly in your own exclusive tropical paradise where the birds are the only onlookers!
We went snorkeling right in front of the main beach by the cabanas and saw some incredible coral and tropical fish just a few feet below the surface. I was so inspired that I have since bought an aquarium at home and am starting my own little "isla paridita" underwater garden.
The hospitality is one of a kind - very comfortable and accommodating. The food is incredible and fresh and the drinks are always flowing if you want them to be.
Truly a one of a kind experience! If you don't like falling asleep to the sound of the ocean, or you would rather watch TV on vacation than soak in the wonders of nature, then this island is probably not for you.
Again, the best trip, for the best value, I have ever been on! I have traveled through the South Pacific, Europe, Hawaii, Mexico etc. and this place is by far the most unique! For a short plane flight from the US you get to enter a world that seems like it should take at least 24hours of travel time to reach. Who ever knew Central America could offer so much, so close to home!
I would recommend this for couples, a group of friends or a family. I went with my girlfriends family and it was a great bonding experience! Very private cabanas with lots of space between each one, but the island has a very communal feel and is a great place to have fun with loved ones or friends.

Ever want to own a tropical island? Why bother when you can rent Isla Paradita by the day. Isla Paradita is in fact a private getaway island only recently opened to the public. With a maximum sleeping capacity of eight people, as previous reviews have accurately described, the perfect place to come with friends and family for an intimate getaway in natural but very comfortable surroundings. From the moment you wade ashore on the beach, it begins to sink in that apart from a few charming native caretakers and any other guests, there is NOBODY ELSE on the island, which is yours to explore at your leisure.

The hospitality is exactly as if you were personal guests of the owner - What would you like to eat and when? What would you like to do and when? No problem. Like another rum and coke? No tabs are kept, no money changes hands, everything is included in the basic rate. The manager, Jeff is an excellent and accommodating host and and excellent chef.

The beautiful isolation of Isla Paradita, combined with the all-included hospitality make this a truly unique vacation adventure that left us totally relaxed and satisfied. All in all, one of the best vacation values we have ever encountered.

The island is an amazing place to spend time. Isla Pardita will make you say wow from the time you get off the boat until you leave. The island provides a variety of activites for people to do during the day. The rustic setting is a refreshing change from the usual vacation spots. A person is very comfortable with the accomadation and will get lost in the beauty of the island. The staff is friendly and the food is excellent. I highly recommend this vacation spot to anyone that desires a get away from the distractions of the world. A great place to be!

This small private island off the Pacific coast of Panama is a paradise for anyone wanting to get away from the hustle bustle of the world. No phones, TV’s, cars honking, busy crowds, or daily schedules. It truly reminds me of Giligan’s Island. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, luxury spa treatments, and room service then this place may not be your cup of tea. But, if you enjoy nature and the outdoors this place is perfect. I like to think of it as glorified camping but instead of a tent you have a Cabaña (palapa) with a comfortable bed, running water, and electricity. My brother and I had the pleasure to stay on the island for three days and three nights and were extremely sad to leave. This place is ideal for a group of friends to get together and enjoy each other’s company. Time just passes away while you are on the island. You can go swim in the ocean, snorkel, go for a hike, kayak, or lie back in the hammock and take a nap. Each room is open to the outdoors and every morning you wake up to the sight and sound of the waves crashing onto beach. Each room has running water, hot showers, and solar electricity. Every night we would sit down listen to music, eat the most wonderful meals prepared by the cook, drink rum, and play cards. I would say one of the most memorable moments was going for a swim at night and seeing the plankton in the water light up all over as you moved. Once again this place is a true paradise and perfect for anyone wanting to get away and just relax. I plan on returning again without a doubt.
