This is perhaps of the only places you can have home-made food with fresh ingredients in Little Corn Island.
We shall not call it restaurant because it has basically 3 tables and no service but the goodwill of a family running the "business". You can get an excellent breakfast including the coffee and a bowl of fruit for just USD 3 (flat rate) and you can enjoy local food such as shrimps, fish and run-down locally made.
The "restaurant" is run for Rosa and her husband, and by her daughter. The menu is basic but excellent and the price is the cheapest you can get in the island. As the are shortages of electricity, there is nothing frozen so most of things are fresh and once the supplies are gone, they are just simply gone! Supplies only arrive Friday to the island!!
Because you are in the Caribbean and in a family-run restaurant, the service is a bit slow. You can go inside and see them cooking, with its 6 fires cook and the few pans that they have to clean any time they change what they are cooking! But once the food come, enjoy the excellent mum-style food and big portions!!!!!!!!
Think that by going to Rosa, you are supporting a local family and not just a restaurant or a foreign-owned business. And she is trying to keep quality high and price as low as the markets indicate!
Feel free to bring your own booze and drinks if you want
