Travelled with a 12 and 14 year old. Accommodation really clean and rooms well equipped and fully air conditioned. Beach was empty apart from the horses which made it even more special. Rooms were a bit noisy in the bungalow as made from wood but added to the Caribbean vibe.
Staff at breakfast were very indifferent and breakfast which was included was very basic and you were unable to get anything extra Like a second cup of coffee unless you grovelled, even juice at breakfast was extra, very weird. Bar man was excellent and sang a traditional song in the evening which was very special. We would recommend but don't expect anything special if you have food.
Hired golf cart from next to hotel which was a great way to see the island and fun. Nothing cheap on island so take lots of dosh. When you travel around the island lots of poverty and no real tourism which is really nice as you feel you are seeing true life and nobody seems to be trying to rip you off.More
