The Secret Yala

From the location to the staff to the excitement of the wild is greatly present in every bit of the secret. You are truly entangled by the mystery the wild has to offer. The staff and location were amazing. A few touch ups needed in the F&B sector and it would be definitely a prime property to top the ranks.

All in all wonderful place for friends and family of different age groups. A special thank you towards the front office manager for being kind enough to upgrade us on complimentary basis was just beyond words. Thank you once again for a memorable stay. Cheers

After staying at their 98 Acres property I was eager to see what this new hotel had in store. I was especially curious since it was a luxury csmping experience.

I was blown away by the service, location and the seclusion of the place. A definite no brainer for those wishing to experience yala and the natural beauty of Sri Lanka.

The place is an absolute joy. Its all so very well set for something in the jungle. A definite is the shisha, make sure to take the shisha on the beach option as they arrange up the beach and make you a natural table which is awesome, fun and a unique experience. Room service was on a mobile with speed dial, you just have to call them on the speed dial mobile and order away. Very cool indeed. It was a brand new experience.

Service was awesome food was exceptional. Beer was great to have at the location. The butler man Aaron my son loved him. He was so good. He adds value to your service standards. Naturalist was of great help. Love the personal BBQ beside the beach for dinner thanks guys for making our stay so great my family still benchmark Secrts Yala which now I have problem as I need to find the best places in future so the best I would do is get back to Secrts Yala on my next vacation too.

Having stayed at this groups 98 acres resort last year, I was interested to see what they had to offer next, so I returned to Sri Lanka again this year again for a short trip. This and Hikaduwa beach were on our list. It is the most convenient holiday destination for me, being so close and well connected. We traveled as a couple, as soon as we saw the setting we were excited. It was right near the jungle and everything looked wonderful. We had an amazing and very warm welcome by the staff, who took us to our room. The rooms were very private and we felt like we were the only ones staying there, it was very quiet except for of course the sound of the animals and the birds surrounding the place. The private beach hut was so cool, it was overlooking the entire empty beach and the areas which are untouched by the waves, it all looked so beautiful. For dinner there was a BBQ, all overlooking the beach, which I thought was an awesome idea. The food was OK, credit goes to the Chef though, he made a good effort but I didn’t enjoy it very much as I'm not a huge fan of Seafood. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and it was one of the best camping experiences I've had so far. Will definitely come back with a big group of friends next and explore the wild side of this place.

The beach was amazing. Its all in the jungle and so we had a very unique experience, the safaris were so awesome, we were able to spot 3 leopards during the safari, many elephants and other animals we don't know. The Naturalist is very talkative and well experienced. It was a good safari lesson. The food was good, we had a BBQ for dinner, the sheesha on the beach was perfect!!!! and i should mention that they have the best BBQ sauce ever, so delicious. This is great place and a must visit. We will definitely go back again.
