Rooms were huge. Snowed heavily on 15th March. Every room has a balcony so the view is breathtaking.
Took a cab to YongPyong Ski resort at about 10kwon.

Not many restaurants around the area but you can take a Food Guide brochure from the counter. The 2 I went to are very welcoming of tourists. NO 2 ans No 15 on the food guide.

Will definitely stay here again if I'm in Pyeongchang.

We stayed here for 4 nights during Chinese New Year. The hotel is big and very new, opened after the olympics. The hotel is a little bit isolated and you need to take a shuttle bus for 10 minutes to the skiresort in Yong Pyong or Alpensia. The bus leaves only twice and there is only one bus back to the hotel, late afternoon. It is possible to take a taxi though. It is a 15-20 minute walk to any restaurants. They have one at the hotel with Korean food.
Rooms are great, especially the bathrooms (the ones with a shower, not a tub). There is a loft in every room that is not really used, maybe you can squeeze in an extra bed here?! Also a kitchenette where you can’t really cook...
A small convenience store is available at the hotel as well.

The hotel is brand new and even though it was big it was fully occupied on the weekend we visited it. So you have to book it in advance.
The rooms are nice and clean. Beds are very comfortable. The room has a second deck which might be good as a sleeping place for small children.
It has sauna and outdoor swimming pool which was closed because of winter. Maybe is is a bit uncomfortable that the pool is outdoor.
I booked the room without breakfast as they wanted to charge me KRW 30,000 per person for that which is too expensive, I assume.
I wanted to change the room (I booked 2 twin bed room instead of one double bed by mistake) and I wrote to them via booking web-site and they immediately called me back. So they react on clients requests very fast and the quality system is working fine.
They also have the shuttle bus to the near-by ski resorts which might be convenient if you don’t have a car.

The hotel is so new that there wasn't a website available when we booked it. Its a wonderful option if you are skiing in Alpensia. Their free shuttle is wonderful (the shuttle was full and the hotel kindly cars to send us to Alpensia anyways). The loft is a great for more bedspace but it would be better if they don't charge us for the extra bedding (33,000KRW per night). The convenience store right on site also makes is very convenient. Breakfast is also nice. Beds and pillows can be better though. We had dinner there after skiing on both nights and food was excellent. One thing I would recommend is to offer a more frequently shuttle schedule to Alpensia and YongPyong during the day (perhaps every hour on request?) so that it would make it much more convenient for the guests to commute back and forth. Overall, I really love this hotel and would definitely stay here again when I come to Pyeongchang next time.

The Ramada Hotel and Suites Pyeongchang is very new. In fact, when we booked, their website wasn't even up yet. The rooms and bathrooms are big and spacious. Beds are comfy. There's a couch as well. The second floor serves as another sleeping area with a mattress (Korean style sleeping). There's a convenience shop in the basement floor of the hotel so you can buy food there. The rooms are equipped with a small refrigerator (free bottled water provided), a microwave and small stove for heating and simple cooking. There's a free shuttle taking the hotel guests to the nearby ski resorts like Yongpyong and Alpensia as well as the nearest KTX station. We took the shuttle to Alpensia in the morning and back to the hotel in the evening. The staff are helpful and could speak English. Since it's rather new, there's nothing much around the hotel but the staff said that a sheep farm within walking distance would be up and ready by next year. A comfortable and enjoying stay.
