The first impression of the ski resort is good, but not great. Although the overall building is old, but the management has maintain it well.

We stayed in the deluxe room and its very spacious and clean. Since we were visiting during the spring time, the weather is kinda chilly and no air-conditioning needed for the entire day and night. The room is also comes with complimentary wifi and the signal is strong. Our room is not worn out as other reviewers mentioned, or perhaps it's just our luck to have a better room? The bathroom comes with a clean bathtub and the hot shower works perfectly, albeit the water pressure is a little too low, but no issues for us.

The breakfast is good, with selections of cereals, bread rolls, choices of fruits and eggs. The restaurant itself was converted from the shooting location of the infamous Korean drama Winter Sonata, and the restaurant ceiling is low and the dining area is not very spacious. Therefore, to avoid the huge crowd and noise, it's better for one to go for breakfast before 8am, where the big tour group of people usually comes in after 8am.

The location of the resort is really strategic as the ski field is just behind the hotel. The snow will build up the whole area during winter, and the area will converted into a beautiful golf course during other seasons of the year.

There's limited restaurant around the resort area. Nevertheless, there's a convenient shop located next to the hotel lobby.

Generally, I enjoyed staying at the resort and will come back again for ski in the future.

Room Tip: Choose a ski field facing room for greater view.

We stayed here with our tour group. The room was in desperate need of an update. The beds were a little hard for me but others said they were ok with it. On the upside the room is spacious. Breakfast buffet across the hotel didnt have a huge range but was substantial enough to fill you up.

As we came in the off season the resort was very quiet and although there were no snow on the mountains, the rolling green hills and the fresh air was nice.

There is a hotspring waterpark nearby and within the resort itself there is a gondola/cable car that goes up to the top of the mountain which is worth the trip. There is a Lotteria and Baskin Robbins and a minimart in another building behond the hotel.

Dragon Valley probably has been a fantastic place a long time ago, now it is mostly acceptable and just OK. The rooms are worn out, but clean and fine. They are quite spacious, especially when we bought and upgrade. Even the upgraded room is very old, it's just more spacious...

The breakfast was very good, but the selection isn't very wide. For me it was very good, I really wouldn't need anything else than an omelet, bread, coffee, and orange juice..

The location is pretty close to the skiing lifts, and all in all, a central place.

Room Tip: Consider buying an upgrade, if you are more than two people, the upgrade can cost a lot, though.

Room is huge and spacious. Beds comfy and clean. Heating system is great. The room doesn't seem as outdated as others have commented. We were delighted when we found out that there is free wi fi in the room! Continental breakfast is delicious although there aren't many choices.

Went there in summer, so there wasn't any snow. Quite an old place but the wifi in the room was a plus. The place looks very old and rundown, so if you feel that you can't stand staying in an old room, I would recommend that you choose other rooms. You have to get hot water from the cooler outside the rooms and that was kind of troublesome.

Had a nice happy surprise when we were shown The Room. The Room looks new and beautiful with heated wooden flooring and Korean mattresses and blanket and pillow. Had a wonderful time sleeping in such a way, it was warm, clean and comfortable. Note also the weather was cold as this is in April2013 (Spring time). However, I cant say the same for my friend who suffered back ache as she is used sleeping on thick mattresses.
