This monument is, for the area, well maintained. The view from the tower is beautiful and the feeling in the place is good. Quite a number of uneven steps to climb but manageable.

“Interesting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2013

When Kuya Wawie explained how men on horses could once enter the gates, i was awed at how deep this bell tower had sunk. i wonder how that happened plus the tower is still stable.. unlike the leaning tower of pisa. Interesting...!!!

“Nothing to do here really”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

There's really nothing to do here but to see the tower, take a picture it, OR take a picture of you and it. Then off you go to the nearby St. William's Cathedral.

“A Fine Historical Landmark in the area..”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 10, 2013

When I went to the north with my colleagues, we went to see this landmark and spent not more than 2 minutes just to take picture of it.

The Bell Tower is indeed, sinking...(and still keep on sinking, I heard?)

I believe it would really be helpful to Laoag to increase their tourism if the government would spend just to take care of this historical landmark. Maybe with giving it a signage or fence just to let people know that this place is as well important to this area.
