The Dagupena experience is just like visiting your grandmother's house after such a long time away from home. The dining area is small but cozy and the food is always just how you remembered it the last time you were there!

From the original seasoned and flavored Milkfish (Bangus) fillet, to the Deep Fried Crispy Pork Knuckle smothered with a very light sauce made from shrimp paste (Binagoongang Crispy Pata) time just stands still to allow you to savor each bite.

Dagupan maybe off the beaten path but if you do pass by don't forget to visit this restaurant and say hello to the little old lady by the counter who will remind you of your Grandma's cooking!

Their specialty, binagoongan crispy pata, is so delicious and tasty. For our party of 12, they recommended 2 orders which we finished to the bone. We also had 3 orders of sizzling bangus, and 3 orders of pinakbet. Together with drinks and steaming rice, the bill came to less than P 3000 ( about USD 70 ) for our well satisfied group. Worth coming back again.

Everything we ordered was delicious! We had the binagoongan crispy pata, crabs, sizzling bangus belly, sinigang na lechon plus another bangus dish. The leche flan was excellent too - creamy and rich, one of the best I've had. Service though, was not as good. The waiters seemed to disappear right away after delivering the food. I will certainly eat here again if I am in the area.

Several times we would pass by Dagupena just to have lunch or dinner even it would be late night going to Baguio.

We always come back for their Grilled Milkfish Belly in Pesto.

The Binagoongang Crispy Pata is also very good but sinful! =)

Before we used to order sinigang na "samaral" they have a different name for samaral fish in pangasinan. One time they charge me 350 pesos for a bowl of sinigang na samaral! Its not a big fish, with my cooking expertise I would estimate the fish is around 200-250 grams only. They over priced a loyal customer this time!

Food is a bit over priced but must try their grilled bangus belly pesto and bingagoongang pata!
