We ate hear for 2 of our 4 nights in Ngapali. The food was great. Sea food curry was wonderfull. Very welcoming staff and service was prompt. There is no hurry in Ngapali as there is no night life away from the restaurants. Prices were very acceptable and on a par with the competition. Would recommend.

The best choice for seafood on this strip. Everything´s fresh, tasty and comes with a normal price. the service staff is totally nice and if u don´t like something at all u might even pay less. Better avoid the totally sweet "lemon squash" dishes - it means lemon sauce but it´s only sweet, sweet and yellow. and tell them that u want ur grilled fish/squid/prawns/lobster NOT dry but juicy. otherwise they cut it in a half and BBQ them till really dry - not good!! but if you tell they´re really yummy!

Hoping for an early night as we were leaving Ngapali the next morning, we turned up at 6:30pm for supper at The Best One restaurant. At 7:30, I started tapping my watch, & the waitress replied with smiles and "Cook now, 5 minutes." Did not feel reassured as the neighbouring table was still waiting for cutlery, & they'd arrived before us. "Cook now, 5 minutes" was repeated a couple more times, until 5 minutes to 8, when I gave her notice that we would leave at 8 pm. She squealed and ran to the kitchen, but as no food was forthcoming, we paid for our drinks and left. Lonely Planet, you are wrong again! Slunk back to hotel, which produced a delicious crab curry in 20 minutes.
