We ate 2x in this restaurant during our stay. Came back because we really enjoyed the first time experience. Curry chicken in a coconut was truly delicious and so were the tiger prawns. The owner who prepared the meal came to ask if we were satisfied with food and offered us banana flambee for the dessert. We also received little bracelets and shell key rings upon our departure. We found it a sweet gesture from people who knew they might never see us again. Second time around we were treated as family friends. Our 2 year old daughter spent half evening playing in the kitchen with the owner's boy and was spoiled by all present family members. In the end we got a motorbike ride back to our hotel. We though that good sea food was found in pretty much every place we ate, but the nicest attitude of the family owning the place was a real bonus. Would definitely come back.

The food was really nice and the husband and wife team were really lovely. A complimentary Myanmar Brandy was a very welcome conclusion to a nice night.

Excellent seafood at very cheap prices. We tried out a few restaurants in Ngapali and decided that this was our favorite. Fresh fruit juices, too (from pineapple to pomelo etc.), you can watch them squeeze the fruits (they had to turn off half the lights to have enough electricity for the squeezer). Try out the coconut prawn curry which comes in a coconut shell. The cocktails were also very nice. For dessert try "fired banana" (not a spelling mistake, but banana flambé).
Like most restaurant owners the host also owns a boat for snorkelling trips and he even found us some snorkelling gear.
