This hotel is very nice and clean with decent size rooms and bathrooms. Its very well priced! We didnt book anything before hand but got free room upgrades

Very friendly staff and great resturant where you get 10% discounts for staying at the hotel.

You can organise day tours and buses etc from the front desk. They are also linked with another hotel 4mins walk where you can use their pool for free.

Great place definitely recommend!

The staff here are great. Really, really friendly and nice. But...

Location - good for restaurants but there are signs in all the rooms saying about how Vang Vieng is a party town and so to expect some noise.. When we were there, there was a Laotian karaoke stage set up on the old airstrip that was still going at 01:30 in the morning - despite the 23:30 curfew. Earplugs were useless and we just had to put up with it. You can't stay out as tourist bars close at 23:30. It was on again the next night and ended at bang on 1am. You can't even join in - it's a locals only place. I actually think in Vang Vieng you would be better off being nearer the backpacker side as I think the curfew is more strictly enforced for non-Laos.

Room Quality - fine but someone needs to tell the cleaners that there are mosquito screens on the windows for a reason. When we arrived the room was full of mozzies as both widows and screens had been left open. We closed them all and spent half an hour killing them.. Only to come back next day to find the cleaners had opened them all up again and it was full again.

Breakfast was ok, nothing bad, nothing special.

Generally it's an ok hotel, with great staff, just poor sleep quality due to what's going on at the airstrip behind the hotel. Inthira is a chain - they have another hotel by the river and also have a couple of other properties in Laos.

Good value clean accommodation with friendly helpful staff and tasty food cooked within view. The problem is the locals have taken over from the backpackers in the Karaoke bars that border this hotel. If you can get a room on the ground floor you will be able to sleep before 11pm.

Room Tip: Ground floor is best

Inthira VangVieng has an excellent location. In walking distance from everything that Vang Vieng has to offer.
Mr. Thaiy, the General Manager and all of his staff go out of their way to make your stay pleasurable.
Rooms are clean, comfortable and have a beautiful bathroom.
The complimentary breakfast is served in "The Kitchen" restaurant. which is without a doubt one of the best in town.
Highly recommended!

The Inthira is a nice surprise in what is a dump of a town. My deluxe room was clean with a comfortable bed and good shower, aircon and a mosquito net. Also a nice balcony but usually too hot to sit out - and dusty.
Breakfast was decent and a good selection of Laos and western food for dinner. The price was good for the food and beer - lovely and chilled served in a chilled glass too !! The staff were friendly and helpful. had my laundry done for a few pence per kilo. Good value.
There is a computer for guest use in the lounge - great as I don't have my own.
Just a shame about Vang Vieng. What a dump. Scruffy and dusty and unless you are young and want to drink and party, very little to do. The scenery en route is wonderful, limestone hills and little villages, but the town itself should be missed !!
Very noisy at nights = I got woken up at 3am but that is not the hotel's fault. A decent little hotel.

We had a great stay at Inthira. It's in a great location - close to everything and easy to find. The staff was very nice and personable - letting us join in on some of their local fun, and going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The food in the restaurant is really good, and better than most of the places in town.

There was some kind of carnival going on next to the hotel when we were there, so it was a bit loud, but it quieted down by the time we went to sleep. Not really a big deal to us.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The place is in a central location with easy walking distance to restaurants, bars and the river. The staff are really nice. The breakfast was pretty good too. The standard room I stayed in was basic but still pretty nice. Had a TV, A/C, clean bathroom etc. Would definitely stay again.
