In a town (albeit somewhat cleaned up) with many restaurants serving similar fare including TV sport/sitcoms, this quaint little place is relatively peaceful, attracting a more sedate crowd, lots of discreet Asians the night we were there. It serves pretty much the same food and has reclining cushions or regular table/chairs like in other restaurants. The grill out front was attractive, chicken done well, but grilled tilapia was the highlight: lemongrass stuffed and salt crusted, peel off the skin/scale and walla! simple and delicious for 50k kips, washed down with beerlao or fruit shakes. For dessert, roadside pancakes for 10k kips are a deliciously sweet (think instant diabetic coma!) treat to take back to your hotel to watch the stars from the same balcony you watched the mountains
