We went to Morocco with our two small children (10 months and 3½ years) in february 2013. We wanted to experience something other than Marrakach, and Mouloud at Morocco Hikes recommended the four days desert trip. We were to see the kasbahs, ride camels into the dunes of the Sahara, stay one night in a berber tent, and see the movie studios of ourzazate, among other things. The trip needed a bit of planning, especially due to the children. Mouloud was really great, patiently answering all my questions before hand (and they were plentiful!), also the questions that did not directly involve the desert experience. When we were on our way, he proved very knowledgable and professional. The car was nice, and they provided a perfectly fine baby seat for the baby. Since it was a customized tour, we had quite a flexible schedule, wich is really the only way to do such a trip with children so young. We were absolutely happy and satisfied with Mouloud and Morocco Hikes, and would definitely recommend them to others. As for doing the trip with very young children, I would say, it involves A LOT of driving - more than we were prepared for, really. If your children are ok with that it's quite possible to do it with children, but car games and entertainment is an absolute must.
