Everything about this place was amazing. For me, after spending 2 weeks in Kenya, I can safely say that it was here I had the best dinner and breakfast. Oh even the thought makes me salivate. All while looking at the beautiful Mt Kenya! We were 3 adults and 2 kids (3 and 5) so kids had plenty of space to run around after being on a self drive safari to 4 different parks! Truly breath of fresh air. The check in staff, bar staff, restaurant and cleaning staff were all top notch! Location is also brilliant! Highly recommend! 5 stars!!!
PS: there's a lovely fire place on the inside with beautiful artwork plastered around the walls of the hotel.

Room tip: Any room really

Very well located. Attractive bedrooms. Sunday night is not ideal as it was on skeleton staff and staff looked tired.
Food was good. Beautiful view of Mount Kenya. Wake up early to get your best view. Good reception/lounge area.

The space is cozy and just right for an afternoon lunch with friends and family.
From the fishpond you the peaceful views of the nanyuki landscape I had a great time.
The menu was well varied and looking forward to tasting the aged meat on another visit.
I had the red snapper which was delicious . Potions were suitable and fries crunchy as I love.
Noticed the cottages so will definitely be back for at least a night to sample out the overnight.

This is probably a 4 star place but lowered down to 1 star due to the racist staff.
The food was great and good place generally, however the attitude just waters down everything.
It's really unfair and sad at this time and age to experience this especially in your own country.

You feel welcome the moment you arrive, even before being greeted by the helpful staff. You can sit in the comforting dining room or on the terrace overlooking the garden that heads in the direction of Mt Kenya. Food is really good: fresh, local and well cooked. Wine list is above average. Service is very good too. Impressive.
