Excellent location and facilities backed up by a proprietor for whom nothing was too much trouble. We had something of a medical emergency in nearby Blois and David could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was quite outstanding being prepared freshly by David. Finding the secluded location (with sketchy mobile reception) can be a challenge but otherwise excellent.

Great value for money, delicious breakfast and peaceful location. Nearby Blois was a great place to wander and Chambord worth a visit. The bath was large and hot but shower fiends might find the shower puny. The pancakes and salted caramel (homemade) deserve a special mention.

The perfect place to stay if you go to visit the Loire Valley for a couple of days. - should have a car with gps or a bike nestled outside a little village on the edge of a beautyful forest, Wonderful garden with a little river and ducks, perfect place to rest after a wonderful day in the Loire Valley.
We drove from PARIS CDG in 3 hours to Source de Bury (of course with a GPS) no problem at all. Recomend this place.
By car it is quick to visit some of the castles in the area (Chenoncau, Cheverny) very good roads all over.
Thanks for a perfect stay.

This is really a nice and calme place for a stay one or more days. You are well received by David who is very friendly and helpfull. Your room (Chambre Bleu) is divided into two floors with bedroom upstairs. Every thing is very clean and the room is equipped with Fridge and Microwave. The breakfest is outstanding compared to what is often offered in France. Home made products finalized with pancakes. On the opposite side of the small road you will find a garden with lakes, small rivers and many ducks. You really don't want to leave the place again.

An excellent place to stay. Very quiet and calm, with a beautiful garden with a small river running through it. The host is very welcoming and the breakfast was largely home-made (jams, breads, yoghurts, etc) and our room was comfortable and well thought-out. We stayed for 4 nights and didn't want to leave. There's a lot to see in the area and we didn't get to see it all, so we will definitely be returning.
