“An ideal B&B with a great host!”
Reviewed June 7, 2012

There is not too much to add to the very complimentary reviews of many other reviewers. We agreed that this was a gem! We arrived at Zion National Park on Sunday Memorial weekend and the Park and town were packed! I was glad I had made reservations back in February!

I had looked on-line at all the reviews from Trip Advisor and decided to book this B&B. I am so glad I did and we were agreably surprised to find out we could walk to restaurants and to the Park from the B&B. This was a plus for us. There is a shuttle that can take you to the Park but we walk each day. It is just so beautiful there.

Tom's B&B is just one block off the main road which was great as it was quiet and perfectly located. The place was beautiful, our room was great and the backyard was amazing with spectacular views of the Park. Tom is the perfect host and his breakfasts are FABULOUS! Everything was great and Tom is very helpful.

We enjoyed the other guests as well who stayed there when we did. We were there for two nights on May 27 and 28.

Tom suggested a hike at the Park for us - Observation Point - and it was a great recommendation. One of the most spectacular hike we ever took. He also recommended two restaurants for dinner and both were great too!

Thanks to Tom we had a memorable time at Zion National Park, Springdale UT and will definitely return to see Tom!

This place cannot be faulted! Beautiful clean bedroom and bathroom, aircon in room! Tom the host was welcoming and prepared a wonderful breakfast. Location was excellent. The garden was lovely with a hot tub from which we enjoyed looking at the superb backdrop.

We stayed a Harvest House for two nights. As we pulled up we could not take our eyes off the majestic mountains behind the bed and breakfast. Tom greeted us upon our arrival, showed us the place and took us to our room. The room was perfectly clean and extremely comfortable. We could not have been more please. To Tom's surprise, based on our schedule we had to get up early and miss breakfast. Each morning since Tom was up early too, he made us a great quick breakfast even though we insisted he should not. That's Tom! We would stay here again in an instant.

We very much enjoyed staying at the Harvest House B&B. Our room with a balcony had a great view of the Watchman. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom with a shower completely new and very nice.
We very much enjoyed the hot tub in the garden, what a delight after a long day of hiking!!
The (two course) breakfast was absolutely delicious. Tom had a huge variety of different teas, which was really great for me being a Tea person. There was a small fridge in the breakfast room everybody was allowed to use (good for storing your own cold drinks!) and it was always filled with complimentary water and diet coke. We also enjoyed the very yummy afternoon delights Tom served.
Tom was great in recommending places for dinner or what to do in Zion Canyon.
All in all a wonderful stay, we would always recommend this place!

P.S. If you consider visiting Bryce Canyon, do not stay at a place there. Springdale is a way nicer place and it is only a 1:30h drive from Springdale to Bryce Canyon. So, just stay a few days with Tom and use his B&B as a base for your trip to Bryce Canyon (or any other place in the area). You will not regret it!

Room Tip: I would choose one of the rooms with a balcony.

Tom welcomed us warmly into his home, pampered us with a gourmet breakfast each morning, and provided excellent advice on what to see, where to dine, and how to get around - it's not his fault we missed the huge sign directing all to the park's Visitor Centre. We loved the location and the views of the park surrounding the home. The home is well cared for, inviting, and comfortable. What made our stay especially memorable was Tom's hospitality, and we thank him for making our visit perfect.

Room Tip: All the rooms are wonderful.

We enjoyed our stay greatly. The host Tom greeted us warmly and showed us the room expertly. The room we had was the Watchman. It had great view of Zion NP and the stars. It had a balcony with chiars to relax on. The room was large and the bathroom new. The shower was walk in and very nice. The breakfast was delightful and tasty. Tom ave good advice on how to get around the park. We followed his advice and it worked out very well. We liked his dinner suggestions espiecailly the Whiptail Grille which is only a short walk away.

Room Tip: Watchmen has a balcony.

We can't fault our stay at Harvest House. Watchman bedroom was lovely with a private balcony and everything we needed. Breakfasts were superb. Tom couldn't have been more helpful. Location ideal for Zion national park.
