An excellent venue but for a design flaw - if you're on the ground floor of a two-story block, the lightest footsteps of your neighbours above will be amplified by the wooden floors and building design to the level of a real noise annoyance.
A restless three-year old defeated my trusty ear-plugs and sounded like a gorilla on roller-skates.
I'd stay here again, but only in a top-floor room.

The pearl of the Zion National Park Area!!! I have been coming to Zion since the mid 70's...with my brother, husband, son and his friends, and now with an extended family. Every visit here was a camping visit. And those were always wonderful..But this is by far the best way to stay in Zion. With the balcony overlooking the Virgin River and the majestic, glorious Zion sandstone, it was a magical experience. The large room, separate bathroom/sink, and well stocked kitchen made for a convenient and homey visit. Having some of the guys (brother, brother in law, husband, son) over for beers on the balcony was one of the highlights.
We are so glad we made the choice to stay here....

Room Tip: I hate to give the secret away, but stay on the river side if you love Zion. The King River rooms a...

Completely lived up to the expectations and restored my faith in TripAdvisor. The room is very large, beautifully decorated, as is equipped with everything you could every need and want from a "modern rustic" resort, including high end appliances, upscale dinner and glassware, and a HUGE balcony overlooking a river with Zion in the vista. We love Zion, the town of Springdale, and this resort, and definitely plan on returning in the not too distant future.

Thank you trip advisor! This Hotel lived up to everything I had read about it. Before we arrived I was afraid I had talked it up too much to my family. When we opened the door to our room, I was no longer worried. The room was nice and big and beautiful. My kids liked all the space and not having to share a bed. One slept on the pullout sleeper/sofa. The nice sized fridge was great for our leftovers from the great restaurants.
The kids loved the large pool and I loved the poolside views of the mountains. We had such an amazing time that I didn't even mind the bill.

Room Tip: We had an upstairs room with a pool view. The cathedral ceilings and exposed beams gave it a luxury...

We stayed at Desert Pearl at the end of June and could not have asked for a nicer hotel on our first leg of a great trip! We were a family of 5 staying in one room and had huge amount of space! (13, 10, and 6 year old) and the great thing is they are accommodating to families and did not need to hide the fact I had three kids. (many hotels will not let you book a room and all stay in one room with 5) The pull out sofa and two beds worked great and the room was immaculate! Beautiful wood throughout and as in other reviews ask to be on the top floor as we were first on the bottom floor and had people above us come in at 11pm and kept walking all over the place until 1am and then they were up again at 5:30am.. I went into the lobby the next morning explained the problem and they had all of our stuff moved that morning to a new room upstairs. The staff is great, the pool was wonderful and the rooms nice and cool ( it was about 108 this week!) Zion and Springdale were such a wonderful place and we can't wait to get back there! My In-Laws were with us and had a second floor room overlooking the river as well and loved everything about this place! Coffee shop onsite in the morning was a nice bonus too! The only problem we found was that we did not have enough time in this wonderful place!

Room Tip: Upstairs River view is wonderful!

We stayed at DPI during our July visit to Zion. This place is perfect for families. The rooms are spacious and the full kitchen meant we didn't have to eat out. When not in Zion, we were in the pool. Great pool! The onsite coffee shop was also important to us. Our kids loved staying here, and so did we, and we'll definitely go again.

Room Tip: Ask for a ground-floor room for fast pool access.
