“amazing little place”

My husband and I wanted a quick quiet get away to zion during the off season. I found the place on TripAdvisor and all the reviews were absolutely true. The rooms are very clean, with lots of amenities, and the staff is amazing. Kimberlee even called us prior to our arrival to let us know that since most places close early in town, we should grab a bite before getting into town if we were going to arrive later in the evening. The hotel and staff truly are outstanding...we love this place!

We chose this hotel because of the great reviews on TripAdvisor and the reviews are very true. What a good find. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They sent us to Oscar's for dinner and it was very good. Again the staff at the restaurant were very friendly and made us feel like family. Same thing when we went to breakfast at MeMe's. Good food, good staff and good prices. The hotel staff kept our suitcases for an entire day whille we spent the day at Zion National Park. The rooms were clean and large with a queen bed, a sofa sleeper and a kitchenette. Since we were there in late January and they were not busy, they gave us a very nice room with a pool view. I wish it was warmer and we were able to use the pool but the weather was quite cold. We would definitely stay here again. The only slight problem we encountered was that we could hear the people in the room above us as they walked around. It really did not create a problem though.

Room Tip: Ask for pool view.

My wife and I stayed for two nights in January as part of a fly-drive in South West USA. We had chosen the Desert Pearl from reviews in TripAdvisor and loved the place. The room was spacious and well appointed. We could have catered for ourselves but preferred eating at Oscar's, a short walk along the road. The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful. And an early-morning half-hour in the hot tub in sub-freezing outside temperatures as the sun came up surrounded by beautiful views was an exceptional experience. Springdale itself has a lively feel about it but out-of-season (and January is definitely out-of season) less than half the town's restaurants were open.

Love this place. Walking distance to the park opening, friendly staff- beautiful rooms. Ideal location. No real food options but plenty of places to walk to- or take the tram! The rooms are really spacious and nice. And during the summer the price was right.

We spent two nights in Springdale in mid January and absolutely loved our time here. The Desert Pearl was a great choice of hotel, close to the shops and the park entrance. We managed to choose some of the coldest weather the area has ever experienced so the added attraction of snow all around was a bonus. The service at reception was first class, the room was very tastefully decorated with wood prominent in the design. Having a kitchenette was a big plus as we didn't need to eat out all the time. The bathroom was large and very well equipped. The river flowing past our back door was very picturesque and I'd love to see it in the summertime. The walks in the area were spectacular, although many of them were closed due to the icy weather. The only negative I found was problems in connecting my i-phone 4 to the free wifi provided. Maybe that was because we were staying in the far back corner of the hotel. We loved the hotel, the area and it probably remains our favourite location visited.

My friend and I stayed here last weekend and were pleasantly surprised with how big our room was- we had 2 queens, sofa bed, small kitchen with really nice hardwood floors, comfortable bathroom, and a little terrace with 2 chairs in the back (too cold to use sadly!). Location is great as you can pretty much walk the whole strip and very close to the park entrance. Price per night was great too for the season! The only issue we had was the lock on our door (you slid in a plastic key card) had issues and the battery had to be changed after trying it four or five times. But they did have someone come the next morning to fix it and it was fine. They also do video rentals at the front desk- old titles, but still a nice option to have when not much else is open. Would definitely recommend it for a romantic place to stay and would go back with friends again.

After reading positive reviews, we decided to splurge a little while visiting Zion and stayed at this beautiful inn, which is aptly named "Desert Pearl." Located on a river, tastefully landscaped, and aesthetically attractive, the Desert Pearl was also wonderfully comfortable, clean and practical. We loved the hardwood floors in the sleeping area, kitchenette and sitting room and the attractive tile in the wonderful bathroom, which was stocked with a locally made and very pretty soap bar as part of the toiletries and even had a bidet (something neither of us have ever seen in the U.S.). The well-equipped kitchenette included a toaster-convection oven which allowed us to warm up a variety of food (perfect for us as we don't like using microwaves, although there was also a microwave for those who do like them). The room was spacious and decorated in a warm but modern style and the patio area had comfortable Andirondack chairs. The bed was spacious and very comfortable. Our poolside room had a beautiful view and was very pleasant and quiet except for when some inconsiderate guests allowed their kids to yell at the top of their lungs in the pool for over an hour while we were trying to enjoy our morning coffee on the room's cozy patio. If we had not been planning to leave on a long hike, we would have said something or asked the staff to have them tone it down. Other than this, our entire stay was really blissful and we actually enjoyed swimming in the pool later that day (when some very sweet and well-behaved kids were taking a dip with their mom). It seemed to be a salt water pool, which was a nice surprise because I usually can't go in most pools because of the strong chlorine. There were comfortable lounge chairs around the immaculately kept pool area and I loved looking up at the beautiful Utah sky as twilight descended. There was a building adjacent to the pool which had a fabulous rooftop garden on it, which added to the wonderful view from our room. All in all, I would highly recommend this Inn. So far, it is at the top of our list of favorite places to stay.
